Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 26 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
i used to like this game. now it doesn't even make sense. combat is ruined so is the ai the new look. movements are jank every hit is weak af. game said leave a bad review after a humiliating defeat against two opponents that just wouldn't fkn die no matter what. dish out a hit for 1 or 10 hp then get hit back for 16 or 20. nothing feels the same. i completed multiple branches the first time this is just unbearable. very disappointed with what its become.
Jordy took Mount&Blade combat, drastically improved it in all directions and put it in a game that's actually good. He and his completely unrelated indie arena simulator have done more for M&B community than TaleWorlds has in over a decade.

even after several patches it still feels unfair and unfun to play. Wait for 1.0 release and maybe it'll be better
I just don't like it. The combat is really repetitive and floaty, dismemberment happens way too easily and looks goofy. I really wanted to like it
Good game a lot of the negative reviews are people who didn't even get far enough to see the difficulty. This game has settings from press 1 button to auto win all the way to every fight being very tactical and punishing. The combat can sometimes be rough around the edges but it doesn't take away from the fact that it is a fun game. Lots of different backstories and strategies make every run feel different and the length of each run feels good most roguelikes are like 30 minutes - 1 hour runs where you barely get a chance to set your build up and by the time you do you can't even enjoy it where here if you build your character correctly you can feel invincible and strong for a good while before ending your run, which is optional by the way you can go infinite if you desire with forever scaling difficulty. On sale or full price this game is definitely at a fair price point for what it offers. I feel like a co-op campaign and some touch ups on the janky parts of combat could make this game an easy 10/10 for me but it's easily a solid 8.5/10 as is.
Has a little jank in the physics but overall a really good game. It's a roguelike and it's pretty hard. Once you get the combat down though you can slap cheeks pretty easy. Different paths to victories with different objectives. Politician gets 2 AI helpers but his health is low. He needs to be re-elected so you learn the influence and bribe mechanics. While being a gladiator. Blacksmiths apprentice, free repairs and you win buy "donating"/selling items to him. Some are pretty easy, some are much harder. The highest AI level seems to be very hard and the combat does open up. Spears are terrible.
This is not a 20+euro game, worth 5-10 max.
The game has promise but as of right now it feels...clunky. The combat is more frustrating than fun.
This game has been the most painful yet rewarding game to figure out. If you want to spend hours building up a one armed crippled gladiator that wins his battles with nothing but a frying pan, look no further
Loads of fun. It's a bit rough around the edges, but the developer is invested in making the game better. Highly recommend if you want to mess around and be a gladiator.
