We Walked In Darkness, I thought it was a neat game that offers gameplay from an unusual perspective. That being said it is very rough around the edges. If you are can handle a game being buggy and looking really rough, and you find the content interested I would recommend you give it a try, its free. EDIT: I played We walked in Darkness again at the devs request, and it has received more work, and is a smoother experience now. With the addition of the third chapter the game feels like a more complete experience, and I recommend it now more than I did then, as the game just felt better at this point in time.
I cant get passed the launch screen. I cannot click to play or exit or anything. I have restarted my computer and nothing. I have checked the discussions group and I am not the only on having this problem. I end up having to force quit the game because there is absolutley nothing i can do to play.

So let me start this off on the right foot. I do not hate the game nor its graphics. Yes it is a little (a lot) rough around the edges, but basis of the game is a refreshing change from the reskins of other popular launches. You play as slaves who are trying to get to freedom via the Underground Railroad. Simple, right? This game could have perfectly linear gameplay. But it doesn't. It has little bits of personality and history, along with puzzle solving and unforgiving gameplay that help add to make this an overall enjoyable game. Is it the prettiest game on the block? No. But it fun and provides a great pick up game that I can start up when I have time to burn. And I am so pleased to hear a slave speaking proper english. Its nice for someone to take into account the other percent of slaves who could speak a proper sentence. Overall, I like the game. I haven't played it through yet, so this review may vary, but as it stands this game is great. It has a lot of room for improvement, but for a new game like this I would be more concerned if it came out near perfect. I rate it a solid 6/10 (The mechanics and sudden loss intervals of the game are a little annoying :/) Edit: So after some changes were made I went back to play the game once again. Although the graphics and visuals are still a bit rough, the other aspects of the game have been great changed. The character movements have been altered and feel a bit more natural. Also the jump mechanics are now a lot more smooth. Overall the game still holds its historic charm and I'm happy that the developers are working to better their game post-release.

If you’re making a game about a weighty topic like slavery then you should probably try not to make it a horribly broken mess. We Walked In Darkness feels tonally off, has dated visuals and awful animations. The gameplay is also incredibly ropey due to the floaty jumps, awkward stealth and imprecise controls, which sometimes don’t work at all. I also found it odd that on this eye bleeding plantation the guards outnumber the slaves by a huge margin. My first impressions video is below. https://youtu.be/2vkihoC7SAo
I downloaded this game excited to play into a new perspective, but I can't even get past the main screen. I'm not able to click anything. :(
Same problem as others. Couldn't even get past the main screen or click on anything.
je peux pas y jouer... quand je mets mon curseur sur play game et que je click, rien ne se passe
was glitchy for me.
Was interested in this game when I first saw it, launched it, and it couldn't get past the title screen.....
