This game might as well be called 'Two Immature People with Issues Talking to Each Other' or 'Cheating Simulator/♥♥♥♥♥♥ Partner Simulator/Breakup Simulator.' The game mechanics are actually the only saving grace of this game. So far, it is pretty unique to me that you can customize your answers 'brick by brick'—that is genuinely cool. However, the graphics are awkward, the game is buggy, and the text speed is so slow that even when you adjust it, you cannot skip seen texts, which makes achievement hunting not worth it. A lot of the dialogue is just boring or cringey, and none of the characters within the story are interesting or relatable. I tried some different routes, and none of them were remotely interesting or memorable. The routes barely change with the texts, so it often feels like an illusion of choice. Just not worth it.
Why create this modular dialogue system just to give you an illusion of choice? This is not some kind of meta commentary on it either. The game is just incompetent in so many levels. It's slow, the dialogues are boring, its main selling feature to give more choices still results completely irrelevant or the same path, game settings are not saved even in the same session, it's designed to be played multiple times yet there is zero QoL features to make the process less tedious and once you reach an ending, the game often freezes at the end of credits and you have to force-quit it. There is no charm, clever writing or well-made gameplay. It has no soul. The game feels like someone had a passion to create something out of a modular dialogue system, but got bored or lazy and quickly wrote some lazy stuff out to finish it out of contractual obligation.

I played it while streaming with my girlfriend and I think it heightens the experience that way. Obviously we got the good ending, it feels pretty intuitive how to get it and there's no real stakes or issues of morality since the characters are all blank slates and pop out for a few seconds and are pretty much there so you can decide whether or not you want to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to your gf or not. And besides wanting to test out different endings there's no real incentive to do so. Still, pretty short and made by 4 people so you won't be wasting time playing it.
Short but deep game. Kinda hits you in the feels.
i got this for 1 hole € on indiegala and still feel robbed
gud edit: based as hell, fav ending nr 6 because, STEPH!!!
This is a "difficult conversation" simulator that takes place between you and your girlfriend while you're at a bar and she's at home. This review is after playing through to what I assume was the good ending; there are eight others, and I'm really not interested in exploring them. The good: I think most of us have had to deal with relationships issues via texting, so that's relatable. Word switching gameplay is kind of interesting. A playthrough is refreshingly short. The meh: The situation you get put in is just not fun. A) Your current clingy girlfriend is texting you incessantly. B) She has made you dinner, but you for some reason aren't there to eat it. C) There are two guys who hit on you, and you either have to humor or deflect them. That's literally the game. So if you play the game thoughtfully and sensitively, you have a serious conversation via text with your girlfriend and stay loyal. But that's only one of nine endings. Do I really want to figure out how to be more insensitive, more dishonest or sluttier to get the other 8 endings? Some people might, but I certainly don't want to be unpleasant and immoral just to see what happens in a game. The verdict: I think the mechanics of the game are decent, and I see how this could be good for use in a college class or counselling session. And turn this into a serious dating sim or other flavor of visual novel, and I'd be all in. But the situation this game puts you in is just too unpleasant. I shouldn't have to be 8 flavors of cheating b*tch just to 100% the game...
A very short game where you can try to save your character's relationship with their girlfriend, Sam... or destroy it. The way you select dialogue by changing certain words or phrases is very unique; it's interesting to see how the responses vary when you change but one part of the sentence. The music is very much cool indie songs you'd hear at a bar, and the artstyle is cute!! The characters are pretty intriguing, with them acting differently or revealing bits of lore about themselves when you select different responses. It is a pretty short game that has good replayability, but it can get dragging to try to get all 9 endings with no skip button or way to fast-forward the audio. The way the epiloque is presented is pretty fun with the funky text and cinematic shots of the models. NGL, I went in with no expectations so I flirted with Steph, then saw that Sam was OUR GIRLFRIEND then immediately restarted. Got the 9 happy ending on the first try baybee <3
