The game doesn't look like much - if you can get past that, it is an absolute blast. The environment is near fully destructible. The physics makes for some ridiculously fun beat-em up action. I'm a fan of the genre and have been for years - if you enjoy old school beat-em ups, you'll likely enjoy this game. Lots of levels, enemies, and unlockable characters.
sexcellent, two problems tho, on the last fight in chapter 3 when you walk into the building to fight wraith the camera just pans to the roof and you cant see what your doing, and the difficulty isnt working i pressed normal on a new game twice and the game was still set to hard. Other than that tho, this game is a must play for beat em up fans
Лучший Бит Ем Ап. Хотелось бы что-бы данный разработчик посмотрел на такие проекты как DC Task Force и на базе этой игры сделал что-то похожее
Fun. Runs perfectly on steam deck. Pretty mindless beat em up reminiscent of sega/arcade games. you can cut people up with chainsaws and accidentally beat up old ladies.
its a fun game. I think some of the controls are kinda wonky, but its fum overall.
we could be kino
I'll be putting a lot of hours into this one
This game is awesome! Ninja on the Commodore 64 was the first beat-em up I ever played. I was always a fan of beat-em ups and We Could Be Heroes is really special. I love how nearly everything can be destroyed and used as a weapon. I can destroy a door and use pieces of the door frame as a weapon. I can throw tomatoes at people. I can throw people into the environment, with the environment reacting to the body flying into it. If you grew up with beat-em ups, you would sometimes find a new game where you could do something new, like grabbing two guys and bashing their heads together. Back in the day, finding things like that in a new game was the coolest thing ever. This game gives that feeling. Being able to grab people and bash their heads against the environment is insanely cool. Having destructible environments in a beat-em up is rad. Not to mention the neutral characters around the game. Not everyone you see is a bad guy, there are lots of normal neutral people around doing their own thing that don't try to fight you when they first see you. You can become a lunatic and go ballistic on everyone and fight the neutrals too, or you can just fight the bad guys and save the good people from them. Neutrals in a beat-em up is a great addition. A lot of people say this game is humorous, and this game is indeed funny at times, but it's an insanely good beat-em up that's much more than just a comedy game. Did I mention that that you can push a shopping cart around? You know how in beat-em ups you might see a shopping cart around that you can hit and it goes flying and knocks the bad guys over? In this game I can actually push a shopping cart around, literally! My mind is blown with how awesome that is. I can literally grab a shopping cart and move it around like a real shopping cart, in a beat-em up? That's insane in the membrane! My mind is blown. I need DLC for this.
