magical BUT no oculus sdk - and they have the same game on the oculus store so how can it be here without it its laggier and blurrier through steamvr layer
way too short. way too easy. way too tedious. great lost potential. there are barely any levels, and almost all are super easy. if you want to fix your mistake, often you need to replay the entire level, doing the same things over and over, waiting for all the screen transitions and for the 60s round timer to end so you can see it from the beginning. previously you could not overwrite saplings, making the game even more tedious, but also saying that all the puzzles are very simple and normal and basic, with none of the cool time travel past and future stuff. its just linear and basic. but now you can overwrite saplings, which is useful qol often, but still when you overwrite a sapling it will delete any other saplings that have been changed since the one youre overwriting, and this is not communicated at all. tragic. could have been so much more. let us overwrite old saplings so we can do cool time travel puzzles, and make more levels that are actually interesting, and speed it up a bit so 99% of the gameplay isnt standing around staring your slow ass sapling dead in its lifeless eyes waiting for it do its thing so you can do yours.
One of the best VR games out there, it really utilizes the virtual space well, and it's satisfying to pull some of these stunts
So far, I have played three VR games with the same core idea: working together with clones of your past self. These games are The Last Clockwinder, We Are One, and Unloop. These games all have very different themes, but they have very similar gameplay loops. I would recommend all three of them, but not equally. They all share one flaw, which is desync between what happens when you do something the first time, and what your clone does when it tries to copy you. You might throw an item and save that action into your clone, but then the clone might fail to grab the item or throw it at a slightly different angle. The Last Clockwinder suffers the least from this issue, and when it does happen its usually very easy to swap out the defective clone. In We Are One, this issue is a bit more common and a bit more difficult to fix, but it still isn't too bad. In Unloop, I have had many more issues with desync, and in unloop I have to start the level all over again if something doesn't go correctly the first time. As I said, I recommend all three games, but I think you should start with The Last Clockwinder as it seems to be the least buggy of the three, and if you like that one, you will probably be able to endure a few more bugs from the other games.
I love the core mechanic. I do wish that once you completed a level you could see recordings of how other people did it. That could create an interresting competition in the community and I'd love to see some people's creative solutions
This game is so good, I wish nature was real
You have your best and worst possible teammate - YOU!
Definitely yes ! Anything I could find to criticize about this game would be petty nitpicks. Very interesting and enjoyable overall. Beautiful too ! Pretty good puzzle and skill game overall... And the best part: I got it for approximately one buck USD. Spent 4 hours and devoured it almost all. I was in the midst of level 57 which doesn't tell anything about when it ends and I had to stop eventually. Now I regret it because I have to start over all the "sub-levels" of level 57 and the game doesn't save progress between them !
Le jeu est EXTREMENT cool ! Mais bordel, rajoutez des succès à la fin !!!! (En effet, je met non à cause de ça, sinon c'est un gros OUI)
The lonely man's game. Perfect for me. 8/10
