I really enjoy the unique mechanic of moving up and down the screen to speed up or slow down the game speed. Great game to play for some quick fun

Stunning visual design and game feel. Clearly a very passionate dev. Love all the power-up/firing pattern stuff.

The gameplay is rather straight-forward, as all you is click to shoot and move your mouse However, that does not make the game easy or boring. The fact that it has such simple mechanics makes it a great game to play. T The graphics are outstanding, the music is good, and most importantly the game plays true to the genre.. If you enjoy the classics and want to play something new, I’d definitely recommend !

Do not underestimate the power of a game altering mechanic. Wavecade approaches the arcade shmup genre with its slow down and speed up mechanic that makes the game accessible or flexibly challenging. I really love the play of light on the screen when playing this and it gives me nostalgia for christmas lights and 90s sci-fi movies! This game is HIGH QUALITY. Sometimes indies peak after a few features, but there's so much time and effort that's gone into making this game replayable and exciting that it's essentialy a one-stop release for what you need in a shmup. If you ever wanted to play galaga at high speeds, with extreme bloom & a neon aesthetic then this is your game!! Very fun & addictive
