bad not good

this is a nice 3d action beet em up, for what it is, its pretty fun. decent graphics and the story is set before the movies. if you see it on sale, jump on it. i highly recommend especially if youre a watchman fan. movies or comic.

not a great game, not a bad game overall its fine for a single playthrough pros combat system- it is simple but challenging (pro/con , read below for context) the character upgrade system feels rewarding the voice acting - it is dynamic and contrast between night owl and rorschach is very well executed the visuals are nice and with max resolution it still holds up the animated cut scenes are amazing and really refreshing the cons the combat system - while being simple it has no evolution it feels stale and repetitve after a certain point the writing - the lines given to the enemies and the lines said by the dynamic duo are not very creative or well written and get repetititve very quickly the thugs/gang members- they dont really have any personality and they just keep on coming and coming leading to my next point. streched out chapter gametime- a lot of fights feel pointless and according to me feel as stalling , i would have appreciated more puzzles locks etc and 2-3 big challenging fights controller compatibility - you have to disable steam input for the game to recognise , perhaps this is old architecture but this spun me for the first 10 mins, dont know who to blame for that my modern system or the code now onto things that was not good or bad the story 6/10 - it was very linear with no real breaking of the mold chapter 6 had some breakage but it was not enough to bump it beyond a 6 its an expected story done in an expected way you wont be shocked but you also wont be amazed overall it has pieces of a great game alongside some elements which drag it down its a game with a linear story which plays out how its expected to pretty ok for a one time play cannot comment on the replayability for a movie promo movie its not bad i am now looking forward to my viewing of the movie which is quite polarising from what ive seen online to sum it up linear story with a fun but repetitive combat system paired with animated cutscenes which make this a decent one time experience if you want to expand your dc game collection or as a fan of the watchmen movie / comic its not a bad buy

It is not that bad of a game. It still looks good, gameplay is responsive. It lacks combos to fight multiple opponents at once but beside that it can be satisfying. Although diversity of enemies is just pathetic. Than the plot turns out to be very in tune with style of the rest of universe. And than you can play with other human being which even makes this title worth checking.

I would have liked this game if I had played it the time when it came out, but I can't enjoy it now. Game is just: Walk to an area, 5 fight or more goons, repeat until chapter ends.
