About
If you played the game before, forget everything you knew.
The world is full of containers of loot and potentially grindable meat! Find new items and gear in the wasteland.
Your sharp wits aren't enough anymore, fight for your life using hammers, sawblade axes, shotguns and more as you explore the wasteland for new ingredients.
Loot for items and craft new tools and foods with the new grid based inventory and crafting system.
Opening the restaurant allows customers to stop by and order your... delicious? food? You receive and order from a customer, try to make something resembling the order then deliver it to the plate. Click the order ticket and send them on their way! This earns you money (shotgun shells) that you can use later!
Undercooking food or using less than quality ingredients can result in sick and upset customers looking to beat you up, so watch out for that...
Explore a Hostile World: find new items and recipes in semi-abandoned locations (watch for bandits)
Charged Attacks & Tool Durability: Hold to charge your swings and break down loot piles, just don’t expect your tools to last forever.
Dynamic Supply Drops: Order supplies from your computer and watch them crash into the wasteland like it's 2099.
Cooking Loop at the Core: Find the stove, build your setup, and turn raw ingredients into something slightly edible.
Meat Grinder Mayhem: Toss in rats, corpes, mystery meat, or whatever you’ve got. Grind it down for crafting and survival.
One-Bus Basebuilding: Operate out of your wrecked survival bus. Stash loot, cook meals, and plan your next move.
Ambient Events: Encounter random bandits, roadkill, and traps that spawn dynamically in the world.
Optional Tutorials & Intro: Skip the intro if you're returning or start with basic tools and items for a smoother first run.
Replayable by Design: Each run can feel different thanks to modifiable game settings and randomized loot.
Punchable Everything: When all else fails, just throw hands. It might work.
Built with ADHD in Mind: Tight feedback loops, flexible pacing, and lots of nonsense to keep things moving.

Fun idea but lacking content and quality of life stuff. Some features that would be great are - Keybindings - Tools to sweep up/carry large amounts of items (at the moment you can only use a small glitchy box or carry one item at a time) - A way to place items instead of just throwing them - A way to freeze items/keep them in one place - A tool belt to keep your hammer/shotgun on you at all times (not needed but could be good)
So this game is fun but need fixes and polish, the boxes slide... sometime customers bug (you get no order) if you have at least 100 meat in the canister you can repeately spam "F" and free meat comes out, need a little pop-up / ui for the keybinds and an option to change keybinds, base interaction button and drop is the same, achievements don't work and of course need more content. Now is in early access and maybe most of those "bugs" are already know, Dev take your time and make this game better and fun to enjoy!
Fun little game but very little to do and very repetitive. I refunded for now because right now I don't feel like it's worth my time but someone who specifically likes cooking games this could be a nice game so recommend.
The trailer made it look decent but looks can be (& were) deceiving. I love the art style, but the graphical setting options that range from "Potato" to "Something's Burning" are woefully underdeveloped. There's a slight discernible difference between each one, but its COMPLETELY DARK inside the bus on any setting EXCEPT Potato... Several other minor bugs that make it hard to enjoy, but the fact that there's no inventory or hotbar and only one thing can be held at a time is unforgivable. Mr. Reynolds, please keep working on it as I believe it'll be awesome all said and done, but I can't recommend this to anyone yet, I'll check back and follow your progress. Cheers!
What a fantastic idea. As a previous review mentioned "this might be a good game for someone who's into cooking simulators". Yes. Yes it is. I cook burgers for people for a living IRL and this is a far more fun way to go about doing it. No health inspector up your hole trying to make things "safe", no ♥♥♥♥♥♥ customer complaints about the wait time. almost perfect execution. Let me have two hands or a Hotbar and you'll be golden. Just want to say though, food health safety is very important in real life and i'd not have it any other way. But, ♥♥♥♥ those customers asking for a burger with no meat or whatever, like, have a piece of toast you degenerate.
10/10 feeding the locals slop playing on steam deck is fun like trying to thumb wrestle an octopus.
this game was cool when it came out but theres no more updates and little to do
It is a very fun game and i usually am all for supporting indie devs, but this is just too expensive. It is a great concept and in the fiture it might be worth this price, but not right now. I certainly regret wasting 10 bucks on this, when i could have gotten a fully developed and way bigger indiegame such as undertale or endoparasitic. I enjoy playing but i really just dont recommend paying 10 bucks for this game, when theres still so many bugs.
- Doesn't really have a tutorial that's easy to see so you start the game wondering what's going on and where to start the first couple minutes. - For some reason when you have an item in your hand you can't interact with anything else (besides open and close boxes and the oven); like if u have a rat in your hand you can't open the meatgrinder, so you have to throw the rat on the floor before u can open it, hope it doesnt slide away from you because the physics are it's own entity, pick the rat back up and then >throw< it in the grinder since theres no mechanic with which you place items inside or on top of things, despite the game showing you ghosts of the items you're holding on specific spots but no button seemed to work besides literally throwing it on there. Unless there IS an option and I just wouldn't know cause the"tutorial" is lacking. Sad, I was excited for this one.
Not the Best needs a lot more Work and the tutorial needs NEEDS to be better.
