Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 15.43/day in the week to Sep 8 → 20/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Xbox, GOG, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

I love this game to death, but the performance gets worse and worse with every DLC. They keep pumping out DLCs that get negative reviews with whacky features nobody really gravitates towards unfortunately or short campaigns people find underwhelming, but the crux of my problem with the game is that the performance gets so bad that I currently am unable to play multiplayer with my friends which is the main way I play the game. It just simply does not work.
Душно, медленно, дёшево.
Wartales oynadığım en iyi taktik RPG oyunlarından biri. Atmosferi, savaş sistemi ve özgür oynanışı gerçekten çok başarılı
Very steep leaning curve as there is no tutorial. There are always more of them than you. Not very many outfits you can make.
To start off, here is my experience with CRPGs so far: Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Pillars of Eternity, Pillars of Eternity: Deadfire, Fallout, Fallout 2, Divinity: Original Sin, Divinity: Original Sin 2, Wasteland 2, Wasteland 3, ATOM RPG, ATOM RPG: Trudograd, and Disco Elysium. I'm currently playing Wartales with a few selected DLCs, and I'm on my 5th playthrough—mainly because the game kept surprising me with very costly mistakes. It took me about 100–120 hours to get to this point. Looking at it from this perspective, I can comfortably say this game is an absolute knockout compared to the titles mentioned above. I'm honestly still blown away by its sheer quality. Here is a brief breakdown of what works and what doesn't in this game: The Bad Combat music: There’s basically only one track. While it fits the atmosphere well, it gets annoying after so many hours. Honestly, that’s about the only downside I’ve found. The Good There’s a whole list of these: Phenomenal setting: Gritty Middle Ages spiced up with just a subtle touch of low fantasy. Tasteful violence: Well-executed brutality that fits the tone. Outstanding isometric maps: Topography that feels incredibly convincing and genuinely invites exploration. Combat: A true version of "Chess 4.0"—simple on the surface, yet deeply addictive due to the sheer number of factors and units involved. Brilliant mechanics: Excellent design across combat, story progression, dungeon crawling, and puzzles. Even lockpicking is the best iteration of the mechanic I've ever seen. Plus, mechanics like being hunted, among many others. Complex, multi-layered progression system: See above. Ideal crafting: It hits the sweet spot—rich, rewarding, and never tedious. Brilliantly designed trading: Easily one of the best trading systems I've encountered. Extremely well-balanced economy: It constantly forces you to make tough financial choices. Party-building mechanics are a masterpiece: In theory, you could command a massive horde, but in practice, the game will punish you hard through upkeep costs and gear requirements. Treats the player like an intelligent adult: It doesn't hand-hold or over-explain; it's an ambitious game that expects the same level of ambition from you. Multiple ways to make a living. An intriguing "evil" playstyle option. Genuinely tough moral choices. Masterclass quests: Great regional main storylines, along with side quests that leave subtle breadcrumbs leading you across the entire map. Fun minigames within the game. Oozing atmosphere in tombs: High tension, with a fantastic interplay of light and darkness... Perception and observation elements: On a level I haven't seen since Divinity: Original Sin 1. Graphics! while not too spectacular...how diligent. Absolute nuts. Every single detail is so well reflected in your gear, both in your zoom in model, and on the battleground, even small offhands. Swings of attacks look nice, not every kind of weapon looks different, EACH weapon looks different. ...and so much more. I think this might be the very first game for me—regardless of genre—that earns a solid 100/100.
