Parece um plataforma 2D de Nes ou Master System. Começa difícil, mas depois vira um passeio. É preciso farmar moedas p/ obter upgrades, só assim dá pra superar a dificuldade inicial. A jogabilidade é simples e boa, assim como os gráficos e a música. É bem divertido, principalmente quando vc ativa o modo "psicodélico". Tudo lembra os jogos de antigamente. É curto, mas vc pode aumentar o desafio tentando fechá-lo sem fazer uso dos upgrades, ou pelo menos sem usar o tiro da lua, que é definitivamente MUITO OVERPOWER. Mas vale a pena ainda mais sendo de graça.

Warlock Bentspine is a 2D retro pixel action platformer that's been slapped together with the godawful GameMaker Studio video game construction kit from Yoyogames. It's a game where you control a henchman of some kind and fight your way through various platformer levels while dodging hazards and so on and so forth, it's been done hundreds, if not thousands of times. It seems like a huge amount of work went into a game that looks bad (on purpose, presumably, an unusual goal, to fail on purpose), and features old, dead gameplay that became obsolete before 1992 (it's now the year 2021). GameMaker Studio is a very poor quality game construction kit, and unsurprisingly results in products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. Using a video game construction kit requires little to no talent or skill as a game developer. Very often, GameMaker Studio is used to make shovelware and lazy cash grabs, although that is not the case here, as the game is free. However, there are some novel ideas here, and the game is well polished despite the endless list of deliberate technical deficiencies. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked, but there's a working fullscreen, and you can customise the controls. Regardless, overall quality is below acceptable standards for PC in 2021. The game is completely free. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. This is certainly a gesture that shows dedication to the gaming industry. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. There's no "maybe" option in Steam, unfortunately, but I hope to see more work from this developer, perhaps as part of a professional game development company that can make full use of their talents without needing to make budget/quality compromises.

Surprisingly fun little Mega Man clone with good music and charming 8-Bit graphics. The first stage is much tougher then the rest so I recommend playing the stages in order 2-3-1-4 while collecting coins to buy upgrades.

[h1]メトロイドっぽい雰囲気の8bit 2Dアクション[/h1] クリア済み。 １区画ごとに進むという意味でメトロイドっぽい。ステージは入り組んでいるわけではなく、ぐるっと円につながっている印象。操作感はFCぐらいの感じ。上下左右への攻撃とダブルジャンプやダッシュで各ステージのボス撃破を目指す。お金はストアでアップグレードするために使う。死んでも減らないのでリトライしていれば徐々に攻略しやすくなる。難易度は色々設定できるが、最初はノーマルで充分だと感じた。 なお、HPは顔色で判断。 好き嫌いが分かれるとしたら動きの遅さ。とはいえ、アップグレードするとそこまで気にならなくなる。あとはレトロっぽい動きが気に入るかどうか。 すごく面白いという気はしないが、2Dアクション好きはプレイしてみて良いと思う。武器性能が結構良いと感じたので、できればもうちょっとステージが欲しいなと思った。無料なので贅沢は行ってはいけないのだが。
