This is a proper RPG in the 40k universe. It's a great entry point into the franchise, as it goes out of it's way to introduce the 40k world from many angles. 40k games have been hit and miss for a long time, but this one combines the best of turn-based combat, character customization, and story. By the mid-game, you are an incredibly OP whatever you want to be, and it just snowballs from there. They've also done well with the DLCs, another hit and miss area, with multiple story add-ons that are largely seamless, and absolutely make it worth replaying. They have faithfully updated the game with the DLCs, which is nice. The latest DLC added cybernetics that have balanced stat trade-off, so you have to use them as part of a planned built, but when they work they WORK.

good idea, trash implementation. I strongly advice pirating the game and tweaking it with third-party tools as the devs did a terrible job.

아직 엔딩을 보지는 않았지만 기대 이상으로 정말 만족스러운 게임이었다. 워해머 세계관을 로그 트레이더를 통해 처음 접하게 되었음에도 녹아드는데 전혀 문제가 없을정도로 체계적이고 밀도 높은 게임이었다. 수많은 선택지와 그에 따른 결과, 매력 넘치는 동료들과 퀘스트는 흡사 발더스 게이트3를 다시 플레이하는 느낌을 줄 정도였다. 전투 메커니즘의 경우 공격한 다음에는 움직일 수 없다는 제약이 존재하지만 이펙트나 빌드적인 측면에서 다양성이 돋보여 매력적이었다. 최근 많은 게임들이 플레이어와 NPC 동료들 간의 감정선이나 유대감을 적절히 형성하지 못하여 몰입에 아쉬움을 느낀 경우가 꽤나 자주 있었는데 로그 트레이더가 가려웠던 부분을 제대로 긁어준 느낌이다. 동료들의 신념, 종족, 성격 그리고 성우들까지 뭐 하나 흠 잡을데가 없을 정도로 만족스러웠다. 다만, 텍스트가 정말 무지막지하게 많기 때문에 스토리를 전부 건너뛰고 전투만 기대하는 플레이어들에겐 추천하지 않는다. 물론 맵 구석구석을 전부 뒤져보고 나오는 모든 서적과 대화 선택지를 읽어보는 완벽주의적 플레이어들에겐 강력히 추천하는 바이다.
