Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader

great game, faithful to lore

While I’m not normally much of a CRPG fan, nor would I call myself an expert in the genre, but I came away from Rogue Trader very satisfied. The story and characters are extremely well written, the setting feels like a worthy addition to the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and the in-game Encyclopedia does a decent job of explaining the lore and terminology to newcomers. There is also a good variety of things to do between tactical combat, exploration, colony management and voidship battles, although the game could certainly be gentler when introducing new players to its more complicated systems. It is a long and very text-heavy experience, even when mostly following the main story, so anyone who dislikes reading enormous amounts of dialogue may find it trying; I ended up using a text-to-speech mod, which helped, though it was hardly seamless. There were some glitches and bugs along the way, but nothing overwhelming or serious enough to spoil the experience. Overall, a very good game, a strong entry in the 40K catalogue, and one I would readily recommend to both established fans and curious newcomers. The Emperor Protects

喜欢rpg的必入。

Fun game! But it's very complex... understanding the synergies are hard, but understanding the base effect of some skills is equally daunting... could do a better job of explaning! Rather than put a formula, why not just give the number, and then scales with INT/AGI, etc... Also, remove or give the option to remove the loud and very obstructive noise of pets! I have to play with all SFX off because these noises drive me insane.

Gutes Spiel, ein Akt weniger hätte es für mich auch getan aber alles in allem hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Die deutsche Übersetzung hat viele Fehler, nichts davon ist wirklich spielbehindernd.

高难度数值太奔放了，不过玩法真的很喜欢，推荐。 不是自虐爱好者建议低难度玩一下就好了，高难度不够强的职业完全用不了。
