About

Begin your adventure aboard your personal, giant voidship, traveling between the multitude of systems within the Koronus Expanse, a barely charted and incredibly perilous region of space. Despite being considered a backwater of the Imperium, this region encompasses an enormous stretch of the void, filled with dangerous creatures and prodigious opportunities for profit and exploration.

Rogue Traders never travel alone. Gather your retinue of righteous heroes, twisted psykers, and perfidious xenos. All of them are ready to follow you into the darkness between the stars. They will offer you counsel, aid you in battle, and allow you to amass ever more power. In return, you can guide them through their own personal journeys, changing their destinies forever.

During quests show your subjects mercy or disdain, stay faithful to the God-Emperor, or consort with enemies of Mankind - your every decision and every act, even in character creation, is changing the in-game open world and those who inhabit it.

Slaughter the enemies of Mankind in a fully-fledged isometric turn-based tactical combat. Take advantage of cover, the environment, and careful positioning to overpower your enemies. When that is not enough - use your companion`s powerful abilities to turn the tide of battle and achieve victory even in the direst of situations. Our video game adaption of the classic Rogue Trader ruleset allows an enormous number of possibilities for you to explore.

This has quickly become one of my absolute favourite games of all time! Did you like Baldurs Gate 3? Dragon Age: Origins? Mass Effect, even? Jump on this! No previous Warhammer knowledge required (you will learn in game and it's fantastic). It is incredibly well written and the combat is just plain fun. I wont go into details as there are plenty of reviewers who would do a more detailed job. I can't wait for Dark Heresy and The Expanse: Osiris Reborn (is that gonna be like Mass Effect in 2027 with these writers? Sign me up!), and I will be jumping into Pathfinder WOTR soon (already bought). Consider me an Owlcat fanboy. Also - lets support game devs like this. They seem really cool and from what I can see they listen. A full single player experience, totally worth full price in it's base form, and then releasing legit DLC expansions. It's what real gamers want. Not a brand new game with a store full of microtransactions. I really love it and I will vote with my wallet. Cheers
What a hell of a game. I didn't expect much going into Rogue Trader: I'm notionally familiar with 40k, and enjoyed games like Dawn of War and Space Marine in the past (and enjoy cRPGs generally). This is easily the most fun I've had with a Warhammer property, and it's one of the best cRPGs I've played. You don't need to know anything about 40k to get into it (many tooltips will help you with lore along the way, if you care about that), the variety of choices are great, and the systems gameplay is great. Took me almost 150hrs to really get through and enjoy everything on my first playthrough, which is a great amount of time for a game. Included the first 3 DLCS in my playtime.
I do not beg for the Emperor’s favour—I wield the authority He has bestowed. Every world that defies my banner shall remember my name in fire. Every traitor shall become another corpse drifting through the void. Every victory shall be another hymn to Holy Terra. My legacy is eternality, from the will of the emperor!Right here, right now, loyal pilgrims! He summons you to render the tithe of your courage, your hatred, and your unwavering devotion. Rally beneath the banner of 豆子, for through my hand His will shall be wrought upon the stars. By my decree, His enemies shall perish. By His will, Humanity shall reign forever.
its so good. its so good. its so good. i dont even know what else to say.
♥♥♥♥ you Owlcat and your stupid-ass game design with choices in the beginning potentially FOREVER locking you away from content. For ♥♥♥♥ sake, in BG3 if you THROW AWAY THE ARTIFACT for some stupid reason you at least get the chance to retreive it. Here "Oooh you didn't know colonies were a thing, went exploring instead of straight to one of the major planets, now you get screwed cuz you didnt know that smol even was a potential colony. Screwed 30 hours of game in btw." Thank the Emperor for modders.
I guess I'm a WH40k fan now, dang it.
if you look in the patch notes you will see "we added our own launcher" and the very next update "we heard you didn't like it so we removed it" i dont need to play the game to know that these are great devs,
