⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Players in the game will be able to play on multiple battlefields of the Maryland Campaign, from the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers where the Siege of Harper's Ferry took place, to the ridgelines of South Mountain, and to the meandering waters of Antietam Creek at the Battle of Antietam.
Additionally, players will also be able to choose from a list of regiments that fought in each battle as well as what rank to fight as, whether they want to slog it out as a lowly private, or if you want to orchestrate the carnage and mayhem as a major general.
Uniforms and bodily features will all be customizable for other players to see as you march and fight in the lines of battle according to the tactics of the period. As a General, you will operate in your headquarters equipped with a map of the battlefield and constantly receiving reports of friendly and enemy positions. Send out new orders to the regiments to move forward, or fall back - all in real time. The orders will move down the chain of command, to the Colonels, Majors, down to the Captains in charge of the individual regiments, all of whom have the option to follow the orders of their trusted commander, or rebel against his wishes and fight as you see fit.
Each map contains a period reconstruction of the buildings, farms, forests, roads, and rocks as they were in 1862 so players can fight through the streets of Harper's Ferry, in the wooded heights of Fox's Gap at South Mountain, or in the cornfields and Bloody Lanes of Antietam. Players can feel the whiz of deadly shot and shell fly by their bodies, or hit their comrades or themselves as they scream in a bloody hail from their wounds. Limbs will fly and blood will be spilt once again as Campfire Games brings the fighting of the Civil War right to the player's computer screen!
Will you heed the Union call against the traitors? Or will you fight to defend your family and livelihood with the Confederacy? You decide!

love the game, love the historical commentary, but the animations are so slow (like fixing bayonets just let me spawn with it on) and i get stuck on stuff that i can really only say its more of an RP game

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 17 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,502 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I remember a time when classes weren't class locked. And a time when you didn't have to play for 200 hours just to rank up once. This game still plays the same, and for the most part it hasn't added that much content. Yet after these 4 years, it has become a slow grind to unlock all the rank locked classes ( officer and NCO ). I cant say that i like that feature as it locks out new players or people that don't have that much time to play. Yes i understand that maybe its best that the more experienced players get to use those roles, but what's the fun in that. At the end of the day this game got popular for the funny and chaotic moments that it had to offer. Nowadays most players are stuck getting barked at by middle aged men that play this game every single day. I cant say that ill come back to this game ever, i had my fun and that's all that matters. If you respect your time play something else, this game gets pretty repetitive and honestly it isn't worth your time.
good game
This game is awesome! So much real teamwork, coordination, and cooperation. Love it!
fun
I love this game, i play it when none of my friends are on. Playing on friday and saturday nights are so epic, thats when all the guys loyal to this game get on. Graphically its a beautiful game, the gameplay is so fun and the people that roleplay make it such a funny time. its so worth the time and money that you put into it, but im just a history nerd and i love the civil war part of american histroy. If you're also a history nerd you'll love this game, the realism is unmatched.
