Players in the game will be able to play on multiple battlefields of the Maryland Campaign, from the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers where the Siege of Harper's Ferry took place, to the ridgelines of South Mountain, and to the meandering waters of Antietam Creek at the Battle of Antietam.
Additionally, players will also be able to choose from a list of regiments that fought in each battle as well as what rank to fight as, whether they want to slog it out as a lowly private, or if you want to orchestrate the carnage and mayhem as a major general.
Uniforms and bodily features will all be customizable for other players to see as you march and fight in the lines of battle according to the tactics of the period. As a General, you will operate in your headquarters equipped with a map of the battlefield and constantly receiving reports of friendly and enemy positions. Send out new orders to the regiments to move forward, or fall back - all in real time. The orders will move down the chain of command, to the Colonels, Majors, down to the Captains in charge of the individual regiments, all of whom have the option to follow the orders of their trusted commander, or rebel against his wishes and fight as you see fit.
Each map contains a period reconstruction of the buildings, farms, forests, roads, and rocks as they were in 1862 so players can fight through the streets of Harper's Ferry, in the wooded heights of Fox's Gap at South Mountain, or in the cornfields and Bloody Lanes of Antietam. Players can feel the whiz of deadly shot and shell fly by their bodies, or hit their comrades or themselves as they scream in a bloody hail from their wounds. Limbs will fly and blood will be spilt once again as Campfire Games brings the fighting of the Civil War right to the player's computer screen!
Will you heed the Union call against the traitors? Or will you fight to defend your family and livelihood with the Confederacy? You decide!

Hilarious and intense, people can take it a bit seriously but people in voice chat crack me up all the time. It makes me want to engage with voice because you kinda have to
Best musket era game when it comes to balancing mechanics IMO

Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Pretty fun ngl
DO NOT BUY WAR OF RIGHTS — THE COMMUNITY IS NOT WORTH IT I genuinely cannot understand how this community has been allowed to become this toxic. War of Rights could have been an amazing game, but the community drama, power struggles, and certain people in positions of authority have completely destroyed my experience. And one person stands out above all: (Parker.) My experience with Parker has been absolutely awful. He has administrative roles in multiple official events, and in my opinion, he has far too much influence over the community. Instead of using that position to improve things, I have repeatedly seen situations become more frustrating whenever he gets involved. What makes it even worse is his attitude. The sarcasm, the complete lack of concern for how his actions affect other people, and the way criticism seems to be treated like a joke is incredibly irritating. It gives the impression that he simply does not care what happens to the people on the other side of his decisions. And it isn't just one regiment or one isolated incident. There are plenty of people in the community who have extremely negative opinions about him because of his actions, decisions, and the way he has treated or dealt with various regiments. His own unit isn't exactly helping either. From my experience, it feels like everything has to be done exactly their way. Step outside those expectations and suddenly you're the problem or you're out. It creates an environment where people feel like they have to constantly walk on eggshells just to remain involved. Then you have the endless drama surrounding groups such as (6th NYV and 6/7th Arkansas), where problems seem to keep appearing and moderation often feels far too slow or inconsistent. Eventually you stop asking yourself "How can this be fixed?" and start asking "Why am I even putting up with this?" That is exactly where I am now. I'M DONE! I don't want to spend my free time getting angry over regiment politics, administrative decisions, personal drama, and people who seem to enjoy making situations worse. The game isn't worth the headache. The game isn't worth the anger. The game isn't worth the disappointment. And most importantly, the community isn't worth sacrificing your enjoyment for. If you're considering buying War of Rights because you like the idea of Civil War reenactment gameplay, think very carefully about what you're getting yourself into. I personally would not recommend this game. The game could be fun in PUBS but im good. I quit, and honestly, I'm glad I did.
