This game is kinda fun and its really hectic. even though i played for like only 5 minutes right now. I'm having good expectations for this game. even though its pixelated its preety fun if you can play co-op in this game. feel free to try this game but be prepared for alot of chaos. i preety much recommend this game for people who like choas or co-op. I hope the developers of this game make it better than it is right now.

Awesome for LAN-Partys!
Walkover is an ancient (2001) 2D top down retro pixel PvPvE arena shooter where you host or join a server (there are none, it's a 2D retro pixel game from 2001), shoot other players and waves of enemies in small 2D retro pixel arenas. You can also make your own maps, not that anyone would want to. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Now, this game was released in 2001, but it's important to be aware that was the same year as games like Max Payne, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Aliens vs Predator 2... those games still hold up mostly okay 21 years later, so there's no excuse for this looking as bad as it does. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... there's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game doesn't correctly account for modern PC displays, UI scaling isn't handled correctly. As a result of this unfortunate decision, text and UI elements don't display at a reasonable size, it's too small to be legible on most modern gaming PCs, and there's no in-game controls or options to correct this. This can render the game unplayable for many. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game is completely free. This is noble a gesture that shows dedication to both gamers, and the gaming industry. Nothing speaks more to a developers belief in themselves and their product than making their game available for everyone without remuneration. It's a shame in this case that the implementation is below the minimum standards a dedicated PC game should offer to enthusiasts. The quality here is simply too low for me to recommend, even for free.
It is WAR! Sinir bozucu uzaylılara karşı durmak için yoldaşlarınızla takım kurun. çerezlik.
Geilstes Spiel aller Zeiten ein absolute muss
Q
great game i love it 9/10 needs some music and the sounds need adjustment but otherwise its one of the best games ever. It is a shame the man who made the first guide for controls for this game has left steam but one of his last messages to me was "Thanks bud :)" i told him i will spread word he has left steam and he said those exact words. Rip Nate who helped people learn the game faster
Edit:"This game manages to crash 6 mins after i wrote this review..it creshed SO BAD i had to go to Resource monitor(a program only administrators on computors can use) and terminate the whole walkover.exe tree(all running programs associated with this program)...disapointed" Nice little top down shooter. the random generation is a bit wierd beacause you gan get the best gun it hte game right off the bat anyway. Servers...lets just say...you need orgenisation. You need to get some people togetther and play because if you join a server thats running a game guess what? You have to wait until the end of thier game to play..and then you HAVE to wait for everyone to ready up and only the host can kick so if you have a AFK host just forget that server. When you actually play the game you realise"what the hell is going on?" Let me get you the basics. WSAD to move Green guys are your friends(press V near them so they build a spawner for more of them) Move mouse to aim Click to shoot Shoot anything thay moves Don't touch anything Still dont know? Use the hanndbook (click the link before you launch the game) Now.Graphics Not mush to say really apart for like almost all indies now adays its a pixel game... thats it really...pixels Thats pretty much it...hope it adds steam workshop support for more maps and stuff but yeah. Thanks for reading. See ya in the server...
