Good spymaster game, with some very intresting mechanics and some good puzzle solving, that give you the feeling of running a spy ring. The one big thing holding back this game is the ui who in the mid late game when you get more agents are very cumbersome and hard to find the information you need. But if you like a spy game where you play as a guildmaster you shoulkd try this.
I've mostly been having fun with Waiting For The Raven, although there were a few instances where it felt like no matter what I did, the only result was, to put it mildly, a cascading domino effect of catastrophe. The UI is a little irritating, a little confusing.
This game is pretty fun. If you're going to try this game, make sure you get yourself established before you move on the main story missions. Explore everything in your bedroom. Solve the puzzles, it's worth it.

A fun game. I like the first person framing device. It's very immersive: receiving letters under your door, referencing books to deciphering cryptograms, visiting your board-game-like map to manage your agents and properties, etc... The UI is fine. Its indi-ness shows, so if you are a deeply sophisticated and discerning person who holds their mouse with their pinky finger sticking out, you might just skip this and stick to wine and cheese parties.
Very good puzzle game and grand strategy. Would have loved to see some sort of map and character randomization a la Crusader Kings to really make me wanna play this again. As it is now, it's so story heavy I can't really get into it a second time, as every decision quickly forms a meta.
The game moves so slowly for a simple concept. It MIGHT have a mem leak. it would be better to have hot keys to flip to things, so I don't have to use the mouse. If we code it better, this would be really cool. I would adjust this for mobile devices, and have it dev up a better UX> I would paid for this game-love to support the community-but it does need more types of missions, more game board stuff.
I thought this was another of those cheap indie games but what it lakes in graphics, it more than makes up in gameplay. It is not overly complicated and most importantly, does not need micromanagement of every agent for each turn which is a big plus over games like civilization.
Thoroughly unique and enjoyable, WftR is a dose of espionage, business management, an intriguing story, and a very minor first-person element. Yes there's a lot of bugs, but I still am fully convinced it was worth the playthrough. You will need Google Lens.
Nice atmosphere and gameplay. I am really enjoying this game
Very good game. just needed some more content to be improved
