About
VTOL VR is a near-futuristic combat flight game built specifically for Virtual Reality. Pilot advanced multi-role jets, using your hands to flip switches, press buttons, and manipulate the virtual flight controls. Take on a wide array of challenges that will put your flight skills, situational awareness, and combat tactics to the test.
No extra hardware is required. If you have a VR set with tracked controllers, then you have a virtual cockpit where you can reach out and interact with the stick and throttle, flip switches, press buttons, and even pull the eject handle if things go wrong.
Immerse yourself in action packed combat missions, delicate vertical landings, aircraft carrier operations, aerial refueling and more.
Create and fly custom missions which you can share with other pilots using the built-in mission editor and map editor.
Join fellow pilots online for PVP or PVE multiplayer missions!

very fun :)

One of the most fun flight combat sims out there. My only complaint is that there are very few built-in missions, and the workshop is very hit or miss. This may make the game feel more like a fancy tech demo to some, but if you can find a few missions you like it can be really fun, both singleplayer and multiplayer with friends.
yes
Very Fun
VTOL is definitely a great game for people of all skill levels; on the surface it's basic and simplified enough for beginners but is also in-depth enough for people that already know lots about military aviation. The modding community is pretty solid, making it possible to fly some planes you'd see in real life. Highly recommend, just keep in mind finding certain lobbies with high player counts can be difficult at times.
good
Very fun with friends
This game is unmatched For a VR game the jank is almost non existing. It's better than anything i've played and by alot. The game is easy to pick up and get into the air quickly but is still hard to master every aspect. Bugs i've encountered: -The radar sceen's UI bugs out and doesn't show any icons on the display. -Quicksaves has a tendency to bug out objectives so you can't finish the mission. -Sometimes when i host a lobby the MFD's (multifunction displays) shuts off then on again forcing me to bring up the pages again. The developer of the game has stated that this game is more of a hobby project so there's no roadmap and updates drops whenever they drop. This is fine since, right now the game is very polished Something i've noticed is that if whoever is hosting has a low spec PC then the whole lobby suffers. Ranging from poor fps to counter meassures not working as well as they should. This game is definitely a must play if your PC can run it well. I play through Virtual Desktop and the experience has been fantastic.
