About
VTOL VR is a near-futuristic combat flight game built specifically for Virtual Reality. Pilot advanced multi-role jets, using your hands to flip switches, press buttons, and manipulate the virtual flight controls. Take on a wide array of challenges that will put your flight skills, situational awareness, and combat tactics to the test.
No extra hardware is required. If you have a VR set with tracked controllers, then you have a virtual cockpit where you can reach out and interact with the stick and throttle, flip switches, press buttons, and even pull the eject handle if things go wrong.
Immerse yourself in action packed combat missions, delicate vertical landings, aircraft carrier operations, aerial refueling and more.
Create and fly custom missions which you can share with other pilots using the built-in mission editor and map editor.
Join fellow pilots online for PVP or PVE multiplayer missions!

Det var en super bra spill og fly det er et super bra spill
very gud plane sim my friend very bad
mi friend veri gud
No words can describe the joy I had from this game, from the incredible replayability to the cockpit design with plethora of buttons and levers given to me to mess with! While it might not have the same depth as DCS, it surely can make flight enthusiasts satisfied with thirst for aviation. Honestly? the best flight sim for VR if you do not want to spend too much money like with Microsoft flight sim or overuse too much memory like with DCS.

I want to start off by saying that development for VTOL VR has seemingly slowed down significantly, so if you want a game with regular updates VTOL VR is not for you. VTOL VR is an exceptional game. One of the contributing factors to my obsession with aircraft, it blends the controls of a study-sim with the physics and playstyle of a simcade. The controls are simple and easy to learn out of the box, with 3 entire fully interactable aircraft available with the game. Its graphics are nice, not the absolute best, but for a VR game that runs very smoothly, the game looks incredible. The cockpits are not something you'd find in say, DCS or BMS, (in levels of fidelity), but they still have tens of buttons to interact with, and fully simulated MFDs. And finally, the gameplay itself is smooth. With an incredible mission editor, plently of redfor and blufor assets, and the ability for fully procedural maps, it gives a very useful suite of feature for those making missions. For those who don't, theres a Steam Workshop with tons of free missions and liveries on it. Additionally, multiplayer also is very integrated. Currently there is 3 multicrew aircraft available through DLCs, (which are cheap compared to DCS), which all have excellent reasons for being multicrew, allowing their specific workload to be shared among the two crew of the aircraft. In sequence of release, there is an attack helicopter reminiscent of an AH-64 or AH-1, a trainer which is almost a carbon copy of the T-50 Golden Eagle with bigger LERX, and a modernized F-14 called the EW-24G, officially called the Medusa, and unofficially called the Jamcat. Overall, an excellent game that is 100% worth getting if you have an okay PC, the money to spend on it, and a headset.
Very fun, havent landed sucessfully yet lol even tho i play dcs
