Might be good in time but for now it just feels terrible compared to other VR games
Nvm really fun game probably one of my favotrites over killing floor 2, has alot of weapons and would be more dope with some killing animations and new map like nazi zombies

been few months since i updated still very questionable games a work in progress from one dev which is insane props nice wrk by him BUUT its literally a BETA access feeling game the main menu/ settings menu lags soo much frames suffer twitchn at like 7 ish fps i got a i 9 20 series figued i should have been fine gameplays good if u grab for like 3$ or something its worth it but suprised was released like this gotta say the maps nice though IF u can get in
this game is junk
I am changing this review (and its all my fault). I had said the movement would get stuck. I feel a little stupid, but my kids disconnected the wand controller charger, and the wands were just really low on battery... So I played a bit more and can say its pretty fun. worth getting. There are a few glitches, but all in all its fun, and does a good job of making you feel like you are always on edge. Sorry for the first bad review devs, please keep up the good work.
Maybe I'm alone on this one, but the I feel like this game could be so much better if tweaking was allowed by the user. The "ultra" graphics setting makes for a wonderful looking game: if you're using teleportation locomotion. The standard trackpad locomotion allows for free movement within the game, but this means seeing the game's flaw: the pop-ins! My goodness! Shadows appear and disappear, ground textures and geometry become more detailed within one frame... remember that awful pop-in problem that Crysis had? Multiply that by 10 and you've got this game's "ultra graphics" Regarding the locomotion: WAY too slow for me, and no way to speed it up for my personal tastes... It's unfortunate because the concept, atmosphere, and modelling in this game are top notch. But these issues really take away from the immersion for me, and thus I unfortunately need to get a refund. I'm keeping in mind though, that this game was released quite a while back. VR is still in it's infancy now, but when this was released, I'm sure it was ground breaking. Just not my cup of tea I suppose.
I played this over a year ago and was pretty fun! Excited to hop back on and try it again. Kind of a pain to get use to but afterwards it becomes pretty fun!
Interesting concept just poor execution. This game should probably be in Early Access. My trouble began with the options menu, it took about 45 minutes of fiddling with options and restarting the game (which would require a force restart of steam) before the options starting to stick. I had a hard time getting it to register that I choose snap turning, which means the first 45 minutes i tried to play means i couldn't turn at all. The reloading mechanic is mostly broken. In a game where you want to reload as quickly as possible, you just can't do it. To reload, or grab anything in the world really, you have to wave your hand all around trying to find that sweet spot so it will register you're trying to interact with an object. When you have zombies closing in, this means almost certain death. Auto Reload option must be used. There's a lack of feedback to what you do in the game. I tried to fill a gas can, i could see the pouring animation from the tank going into my can but i couldn't tell when it was full. There's no indication that the tank is even filling. So i slogged back (extremely slow movement speed) back to my base and what do you know, there's no gas in the can. So i restart and try it again, sit there for 5 minutes waiting for the can to fill up and it never it. Then nighttime came around and all of a sudden 20 or so zombies spawn literally right infront of me, given the layout of the refueling tank... i was screwed. Such a cheap death. Also didn't help that anytime i picked up something with my left hand, my gun would jam making me eject the mag and losing rounds just to get it to work again. If they can fix the bugs and make the interactiveness more responsive, and more feedback with what you're supposed to do then it could be a cool little zombie survival game. As it stands now, its not worth it. Oh and the one time i started to make any progress, the game crashed...again. Lots of crashes.
One of my favorite VR games so far am looking forward to the next part. Playing on a budget RX480, R5 1500x, WMR Plays faily smooth on medium graphics and no supersampling. Played for 18 hours before i finished it, found it addictive and tourmenting! Guns and combat were good, Enemy spawn in was just right with some really intense moments and calm parts where you could have an expore, re supply or go metal detecting. I found the puzzles quite puzzling partly because your just left to work out what to do yourself(reading he field manual pdf helped here perhaps that could be made into an intro video or somthing? Had some random tracking glitches WMR particulary annoying at night holding flashlight as your torch would wander off, making the gun with a light on it the only safe one to use. Had other glitches like fuel cans that i cant put down, walking thru walls/objects, throwing grenades trough walls/objects, only collecting ammo for weapons your holding yet picking up taking ammo for other weapons from crates and then its gone for good or (untill the next day) would be better if you just couldent pick up the ammo you cant store. Main glitch for me tho is after the church organ sequence time on my watch stops, and i dont get the electric gun? is that supposed to happen?? Anyway hope someone reads this. Thanks to developers.
