I like the idea of hands. The game definately has pontential but I agree with above post, it does need some work and the speed feels a little janky in places. The fact that the coaster track in places seems to be suspended in air without any ground pillars adds to the motion sickness a bit. All in all I do believe it is worth the $5 price tag as long as the developers continue support. I do love me a good old VR coaster ride. Keep it up :)
For the price it is worth it, needs work, but it's early. Two of the coasters are realy Jerky. The fair one and toy one are nice. You would spend 5$ for fast food. Its a work in progress, but nice.
MIxed on this one. The tracks are pretty, but short. It's in development so I expect more to come. The hands are fun to play around with, and I like how it tries to center you to your seat. though I couldn't get the height to line up well with my actual chair. A manual "recenter me" button would be great, instead of it auto doing it when it detects you've moved enough. This is motion sickness city for me, though. Probably just the nature of the beast, I can't imagine a way to lessen that.
This would have been a negative review IF not for the fact that I played the best two coasters last. The first one that I enjoyed was the new underwater one that he apparently recently released as an update. The water on the visor effects when you emerge from water are really cool. I also felt like it was a more exciting coaster than most in this collection. I also loved seeing the sea creatures as you pass by them on the coaster. The second and probably my favorite coaster is the minature one where you travel through a house that's either really giant, or is normal sized and you're really tiny. The scale is amazing and is the most interesting in terms of theming, things to look, etc. My suggestion to improve in the future is go back to the drawing board on the Theme park, Mountain and Mine tracks....It's better to have quality over quantity and if those three were up to the quality of the two I mentioned, that would be way better than adding a bunch of coasters that aren't up to snuff. Conclusion 6/10 The two coasters I mentioned make me reasonably satisfied with the purchase, but it still needs time in the oven to wholeheartedly reccommended.
Could not even run the game.
Tried playing on a Vive Pro using OG Vive wands, AND tried with Index controllers. As a few others have stated, game WILL NOT START. You can get to the menu, you can point and highlight coasters, but no buttons (tried on Vive wands, Index controllers, and every key on the keyboard and mouse) do ANYTHING to actually ride a coaster. 100% broken game.
For an abandoned game forever stuck in beta, it’s OK. All six coasters feel beta, even the house and pirate ship coasters feel unfinished, like better graphics or more surprises were coming. I kept expecting giant people in the home, for example, alas, no. This main problem with this game is that it misses a lot of chances it sets up for itself. Like I expected a kraken attack on the pirate ship, or cannons, or pirates. Nope. There were no giant people in the house setting and the city started strong with a vertical climb and planes, then nothing. I like that the game tried to be original, and there were fun moments like the stairs in the house and underwater sections with the pirate ship, but if we are honest almost all these settings have been done before and with more polish. The city coasters, for example can’t stand up to more finished coasters complete with flaming wrecks and zombie invasions. I’d have rather seen one fantastic coaster than two good coasters and four meh ones. And that’s a shame because what this game does get right is fantastic. I enjoyed the balls on the stairs in the house and the animals underwater, plus the vertical climb in the city game me serious vertigo, all great stuff. It just never got the love it needed to become a serious coaster pack. I’m barely recommending it because the good parts are worth seeing, though I do feel it is overpriced. Honestly if it is abandonware it is worth 99 cents at most.
i love it. any plan on more coater idea?
