If you ever played Q-Bert than you love this game, same concept but different levels some easy some very challenging all you use is your arrow keys to play this game. can you out wit the monsters as you pass each level or will you lose by going to fast - think before you jump - there is one bug I found sometimes it will double jump when you don't push a key - other than that I had a fun time playing it. worth the money and worth giving it a try. here is my gameplay https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9tGPQ7nzGXk&feature=youtu.be
[strike]Q*Bert[/strike] Voxel Bot is another free Nannings game... oh wait, it's not free on Steam. Nannings makes this free on several websites, but Nannings are trying to scam people on Steam into paying money for something you can play for free on the web. That's right, because you're on Steam, Nannings would like to tell you to go screw yourself, you're a second class citizen here to pay them money for their scam. They also dumped this into game bundles, another way they're trying to scam people into paying money for something they already give away for free. That's not okay, I'll go so far as to say that's unethical. But this is Nannings we're talking about, and they've dumped this kind of pollution on Steam, running this scam dozens of times. Taking this seriously as a game (nobody should), it's an unabashed ripoff of Q*Bert (copyright Gottleib, 1982). It's a simple arcade game where you bounce around on various isometric cubes, avoiding baddies etc. You can play the original Q*bert for free in web browsers if you want, and it's better than this. There's nothing here for PC gamers. There's no options to change the resolution for the game or customise the graphics settings. There's no way for gamers to ensure this is running at the native resolution of their displays... it simply won't look right on almost every PC. There's no way for gamers to try improve the low quality graphics. The game features extremely lazy, minimalist low poly iso "art", of the type you normally expect to see in low effort Flash/browser games and mobile apps. Considering this is being evaluated as a PC game, having the graphics phoned in like this isn't going to result in a high quality, visually impressive game that PC gamers are used to seeing. If you really want to play this, it's free on the web, the presence of this game on Steam is just an unethical cash grab/scam.
Paint the whole level by visiting each tile
As other Nannings titles, Voxel Bot has a free version available on browser. Steam version has double the number of levels, with bigger ones in the mix but some repetitive aspects. Taking the idea from Hexa Path and taking it into its logical and casual finish line, Voxel Bot requires you to simply visit each tile of the level, without caring about order. It's hardly even a puzzle game, leaning more towards casual action. To make things more complicated, tiles may have timed spikes or have other simple mechanics like teleporters or forced movers. Additionally, there are two kinds of enemies that roam the levels on marked tiles. Usually they just move once every few seconds. But in a couple of levels they move when you do, and since they tend towards you, these are the most puzzle-like levels in the game.
Technical improvements
Graphics are cute voxels, played in isometric view. Controls have seen some progress: in addition to arrows and WASD, you can use diagonal numpad keys or keys 'UIJK', both of which are an improvement. No changing keybindings though, unfortunately. Additionally, you can play with mouse, clicking each neighbouring tile to move there. I personally liked both mouse and numpad movement for this title.
An hour of okay
Free version had 30 levels: Steam version has double that, 60 levels. My playthrough lasted a little over 1 hour. The new Steam levels are a bit repetitive though, often with the same map but with different enemies or other features. There are bigger levels but not particularly more challenging. It's still as casual as the free version. It's an okay game but quite easy and not worth to replay. At least wait for sale price. +1 Q*bert
Fun and casual little action game! Depending on your skill there's about 2 hours of gameplay in this. Has a "puzzle" tag but aside from a minor puzzle element in a couple of levels this really isn't a puzzle game. Jump on voxels to change their color while avoiding enemies and spikey traps. Color the entire board to win the level. A game that requires you to think "on your feet". :) Easy 60 achievements as each completed level grants you 1 achievement.
Follow our curator for similar games
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35180752-3-point-play/ Qbert like + new mechanics + good music = Fun casual game where you try to hop on all the cubes on each level to move to the next, while avoiding monsters and traps.
向日葵游戏评分【7/10】
《Voxel Bot》

In Voxel Bot you play as a robot that needs to clear all cubes in the level. By jumping from cube to cube you change the color of the cubes and when all the cubes are purple you cleared the level. To make your goal harder there are enemies that you can’t touch or trying to catch you. To make it even more challenging there are spikes that strike when you are too long idle on a cube. The levels will get more complex progressing the game. New mechanics will be introduced like a green cube that will let you move further and a cube that can be solid or not solid by pressing a button. In this game, the player controls a cubicle robot, who starts each game on a grid of cubes and moves by hopping diagonally from cube to cube. Landing on a cube causes it to change color, and changing every cube to purple allows the player to progress to the next stage.
While I’ve never been a big Q*Bert guy, Voxel Bot gets the isometric puzzle-platformer tropes down pretty well: avoid the bad stuff (two types of enemies, spikes) to color all the tiles comprising the level by moving over them. You get a decent assortment of obstacles (teleporters, one way and rotating tiles) and a fair selection of level design concepts (pathing and timing puzzles, light maze chase, divide and conquer). And unlike its inspiration, you can’t fall off the edges of a level: QOL upgrades and all that. So where does this little ditty fit in one's Steam diet? There’s a wide variety of good to excellent isometric “pathing” puzzles on Steam (Treasure Temples immediately comes to mind) which aren't really comparable, as Voxel Bot is not a particularly clever game. Above all else this is just a chill time—and I think there's a place for games like this in FPSers library as well as less competitive players like myself. And while I’m not going back to Q*Bert anytime soon, maybe I’ll bang my head against a wall with Solstice (NES) or Crystal Castles again this year to restore the cosmic balance of gamer rage in my household. Pros:

Level progression/obstacle design better than average for developer
Over an hour of gameplay for a Nannings title—30 stages added from browser version
Vibes: lite-house tunes, tight controls, color palette
Cons:

No real challenge: set your expectations correctly
Non-indie/retro players should skip/ignore
