Volleyballed

I have been well and truly volleyballed! After playing for a while with my friends, we have figured out the ultimate pro-strats to win. If you are on the left of the screen, the 3 hit rule does not apply so the strategy is to serve the ball into your own setter, the AI will pass it about for a bit, then you rush forward and jump spike at the net! This led to some very fun moments and enjoyable gameplay. In general it felt best to leave the heavy lifting to the AI as I was not very good at bumping and setting, but the jumping and spiking went well. Also upon finding the technique for the super serve, it could have been a 25-0 game had it not been decided 'unfair' amongst friends. Another favourite feature is the random names for the teams which you can choose before the game starts... but in truly random nature, they are randomised again in game! As a former volleyball player, I can confirm that this is a very realistic experience and that the ball was volleyed.

I really like this game. It is fun, funny, and scratches the vball itch. One MAJOR problem imho, though. [strike]If the the other team launches it out of bounds on your side, say on a blocked hit, it counts as you hitting it out. Drives me crazy! The other small issue I have is that if a player blocks a shot they should be able to pass the ball right after, that's legal in volleyball on blocked shots. Maybe if the player jumps then it doesn't count as your first hit.[/strike] EDIT: Dev has fixed both issues I raised, quickly. They rock! I immediately went to test these 2 features, and got stuck playing for too long. Fun new issue I found, I'd consider it a feature rather than a bug. I won a point from a player on the opponent's team hitting the ball twice in a row, and we kept playing the rally. The points were awarded correctly, and I got to serve so it was all good. Pretty funny!

Первый русский кто купил эту игру EZ. Игра балдежная с многими механиками, позалипать в нее вообще заебись. Что плохо в этой игре это: найстройки (а точнее - фуллскрин это 1280х720 изображение которое будет натянуто на твой экран), так же во время матча нельзя в них зайти; камера, ну просто неприятная хотелось бы несколько режимов этой камеры;мало контента, один режим против ботов которые играют шаблоно. Крч 2 нормальная игра про волейбол в стиме нормас (не играл в Spike Volleyball).
