Enemies can spawn on top of you and either enemies randomly get faster or taking damage slows you down which just causes you to take absurd amounts of hits since you can't escape enemies anymore. I'd like the game if it felt like it was a challenge but it just feels like I'm running around until suddenly I get hit with sentry lasers from three of them spawning it at once as right where I'm strafing towards with a very minimal audio queue if there is one. I wanna like the game but I just don't.
The gameplay loop is decent enough, the biggest let down is the lack of a soundtrack I'd say. But if you play it with your fav game OSTs its actually pretty good.
Arena shooter with a unique twist that the a floor tile falls whenever hit by an enemy which means that you need to manage the plethora of mobs tryna hit you and dodging the floor traps/mobs as well as the missing tiles well also knocking down the towers to manage the swarmers spawn to keep them at a manageable level honestly would recommend for the 5$ it costs it would get stale fast if you are only going in for the experience and aren't looking to push your limits but if you wanna see how high you can climb the leaderboards or just how high you can get you high score its totally worth it if anything they just need to add alternate primary and secondary attacks so we can tweak our attack ie like a charged secondary attack like grenade instead of the swipe or something of the sort to allow more replay ability
It's a really good game, very atmospheric, and can engage you for hours. Tbh my playthroughs weren't too long because of the high difficulty level and my inexperience with this genre of games, but the action is very smooth, clear, and just cool. The graphics are awesome, everything works and looks smooth, no sudden drops of FPSs even when the screen was full of monsters. The only problems for me were the constantly disappearing floor and the initial lack of understanding how to kill some of the monsters. In general, this game is a definite recommendation for the fans of this genre, you'll get lots of hours of brilliant gameplay out of it. For the newcomers to the genre it can be a very good intro to arena shooters.
This game is an arena shooter where you try to defend the tiles you stand on while dodging enemies and shooting down towers. While there isnt any alternate abilities or maps this game has a solid gameplay loop and fun mechanics which is much more than other games can boast these days. Would recommend if you like fast past, on your toes type arena shooters, although seems in need of more content which is on the developers to deliver.
Support Madmind studios ! is a great studio !
right arm good left arm bad
ADRENALIEN poor :PPPPPPPPP
It can get a little buggy here and there, but overall it runs smoothly and has no real problems. If you're looking for a game to spend an afternoon on with you best playlist of action music, it'll make time fly.
This is very good. At first I was a bit reluctant about this game because it is quite weird, and it also feels a little bit clunky in some ways. However, if you like games such as Devil Daggers, this is a MUST HAVE. It plays vastly different than devil daggers in some ways. The arena ITSELF is your HP. You dont just die when hit like in DD. And you can restore tiles in the arena by hitting a certain powerup in the middle of the map that spawns when you killed enough enemies. You can also dash onto the spawner towers and smash them up close to destroy them instead of just shooting them like in DD. Lasers also spawn on the arena, you better destroy them fast and not get hit by them. Overall this game is so special and unique that it deserves a price for sheer originality. You really have to play it yourself to see. The only downside I have with the game is that the movement feels a bit clunky and awkward, but it is something that you can get used to.
