Excellent gunplay, excellent movement, really fun environmental destruction, and a very interesting story. I've been loving it so far. No spoilers, but you unlock new movement tech later on and it feels so great to play the earlier levels with the later tech. I just can't get over how fun the weapon modifications are. Being able to so heavily spec out your weapons into genuinely insane combinations is fun, though you do admittedly sometimes get shafted by RNG with terrible mods that don't synergize whatsoever. Nature of the beast, I suppose. Entirely worth your money if you're into roguelites and shooters that feel extremely fluid and addictive. Runs well, too. CPU heavy, though.

wow, this is possibly the most fast paced roguelike ive ever played, and it does not dissapoint, the fact you have to use structures around you to deal damage optimally and get resource is really fun and interesting. and the ending of the story so far is really intriguing.
Excellent game. i voided on it until she breaker
This is the best FPS roguelite ever made. This game is optimized well for UE5, the gunplay is up there with the best in the FPS genre, it has an intriguing story, and it has a refreshing art direction. This game is worth its full price tag easily. My only complaint is that this game should not be Steam Deck verified. Playing this game at anything less than 60 FPS unplayable in my opinion and the Deck cannot manage that even with lossless scaling.
Great game! i really like the modulles and the weopon variants. This game also offers great challenges through the chaos terminal that are a lot of fun after you beat the game for the first time. Right now the game just needs a bit more content especially modules since most end game builds i have got have been variants of the same build. The first boss is WAY too hard in comparrison to the rest of the game if you can beat him you can easily win the run. I hate the purple homing projectiles there are a lot of situations where you just get spammed by them and just die because of it, but overall its a really fun game that i would definetly reccomend if you like roguelikes
VOID/BREAKER, is a great environmental destruction based roguelike shooter. The game is aesthetically gorgeous and the world building is absolutely amazing. The lore is ever expanding and the newest Act brings new light to your situation which really keeps you excited to see how it all plays out. The destruction is chaotic and super satisfying but above all else, the game is very optimised which is absolutely essential when your whole screen is just full of debris, health bars, explosions, and projectiles. The gunplay is quite satisfying but does not exactly feel like a traditional FPS experience. The bullets in this game suffer from heavy gravity and rather slow projectile speed at base. The gun-modding is unique and offers a decent amount of strategy but not so much that it turns off other players that don't want to optimise the grid. The game is not without issues however, the biggest of all is clarity. Enemies blend into the environments, both you and them are often buried in debris, and with the amount of damage you take even at medium difficulties, you cannot afford to take too much time to understand what is on your screen. The difficulty of this game is not for the faint of heart either, with the first boss likely wiping you out over and over if this genre is not one you dedicate your time into. The game is still buggy and incomplete but the foundations are nearly perfect so there isn't much to complain about. This game is clearly made by a developer that understands what makes or breaks a good FPS. PROS: - Absolutely stunning visuals - Intriguing lore especially for an FPS - Extremely fun destruction - Great voice acting - Decent build paths CONS: - Way too difficult for casual players - Battlefield clarity is very poor - Music is seriously repetitive - Frustrating enemies and hostile projectiles The corrupted modules are so funny and make you mess with the game in ways you wouldn't expect. Super unique and enjoyable honestly.
amazing game!
the best game, it's pretty much a doom game mixed with a roguelike and replace demons with evil sentient AI machines. Very good, I paid full price for it and definitely reccommend it, works "ok" on steamdeck but it starts crashing later on once all the particles start coming in so would say it's "playable" rather than "verified" specifically for the steamdeck, on PC runs like a charm on my specs and my rig is ass.
