About
NOTE: After 16 years, VoiceAttack has grown up and has evolved into VoiceAttack version 2 (v2). VoiceAttack v2 has everything VoiceAttack version 1 (v1) has and more, but most importantly has been rewritten to use current libraries to expand possibilities. You can now find VoiceAttack v2 by searching the Steam store for 'VoiceAttack'.
If you're already a fan of VoiceAttack v1, you can still download and enjoy it for as long as you like. As always, you will find VoiceAttack v1 in your Steam client Library.
VoiceAttack is the premier voice control and macro creation system for your Windows games and applications. Take a look at just a few elements from VoiceAttack's substantial set of features:
Add your voice as an extra controller with voice commands that YOU create. Give specific instructions to your space freighter, your race pit crew, your 'mech or your druid and give life and immersion to your games like never before.
Launch and control applications with phrases you can actually remember. "Launch Skype" or "Launch Spotify" without even touching the keyboard or mouse. VoiceAttack even works great along side your favorite voice chat apps like TeamSpeak and Ventrilo.
From simple, single key presses from a keyboard to mouse clicks to full-blown virtual conversations using text-to-speech, many have found ways to make their PCs easier and way more fun to use in unprecedented ways.
Many are pairing VoiceAttack with devices such as the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift and Leap Motion. The extra depth and immersive experience of voice control take virtual reality to a new level [especially when you can't see your hands].
Receive audible confirmation from your commands or fire up a random selection from your favorite tunes. You can pick random sounds from a defined list or even a directory full of .wav, .mp3, .aac, .ogg or .flac files.
Invoke your created commands with a click of one or more mouse buttons, the press of joystick buttons or a hotkey combo on your keyboard. Use VoiceAttack to augment or even replace some of that expensive macro-enabled hardware you have been wanting to give away.
Give your responses some personality by randomizing them or by using VoiceAttack tokens (inline functions) for some extra flair. Dynamic Response Sections allow you to create extensive and immersive expressions with minimal effort. How nerdy is that?
Loops, control statements, variables, tokens and even a plugin interface. You can even write, compile and share your very own functions using C# or VB .net code within VoiceAttack. It's all there to help you design sophisticated commands to help make your life easier, or your opponents' lives more difficult.
VoiceAttack has a diverse community of supporters that take VoiceAttack into the many facets of Windows computing. From games and applications, to robotics, to corporate data centers to home automation (and more), there's a good chance that you'll find the support you need to make your project as cool as you want it to be.
There are even professionally-crafted voice packs and profiles, such as those created by the geniuses at HCS VoicePacks for use exclusively with VoiceAttack. Just check out the list of celebrity voices they have lined up - you are sure to recognize some or all of their wonderfully talented personalities.
VoiceAttack supports a multitude of Windows speech recognition engines in different languages. Depending on your Windows installation, you may have English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese or Chinese already built right in. If none of those are your language of choice, additional speech recognition and text-to-speech languages can be downloaded and installed straight from the website. Chances are the language you are looking for is readily available here:
(Note that installing these speech packages do not change VoiceAttack's interface language which is currently English-only).
Give VoiceAttack a try with the VoiceAttack Steam demo. It's all in there to help you get a taste of what will truly change the way you use your PC. Do.It.Now!

This is a great way to access games for those who find it difficult. I use it in VR to help me fly around the galaxy in Elite Dangerous. A must have for space sims and flight sims if you're using VR.

Easy and userfriendly
Achei incrível o que este software pode fazer. Não apenas para jogos, mas para automação do PC em geral.
This is a must have if you play any kind of simulator
Great tool for VR Headset users. Highly recommended!
Voice Attack is a great product for those who are looking for a way to interact with your game without needing to remember so many buttons but while this won't be my usual review i will leave a few point to help you understand why i recommend this product but not buying it through steam. Lets talk about why i love voice attack, first if you have ever played Elite dangerous or even Star wars squadrons you know it can get messy dealing with Pips. Voice attack helps you with that by making your voice the command to activate that move. Secondly with Elite dangerous on also Star wars Squadrons you can have HCS voice packs confirm that the action is happening as well as some fun interactions. Now lets talk about why you shouldn't buy this on steam. Unless your absolutely like i want steam to have everything for me in one place this product is not good for steam on your end. First Voiceattack this version V1 is no longer being sold. Second with V2 just having recently launched if you bought this version like i did your now having to go back through steam to buy the V2 version for the same price. If in the future there is a V3 version then your going through the same process. Compare that to buying direct with direct as ive learned you actually can get a upgrade for cheaper or just get the upgrade generally without going through the Oh i have to spend the same cash i did before again. Generally While VoiceAttack is a great product and should be on the list of people who should get it. I would say buy it direct over buying it through Steam this way you can always insure the product is up to date vs going through the paid once oh a new version came guess il buy it again. Either way i would recommend buying this
Was soll man sagen ... funktioniert und tut was es soll.
Great tool, Add in Astra customize and its an amazing tool
