PERCNOPS VIRTUAL RIG

I just couldn't get this to work using Oculus dash and I'm not sure what I was doing wrong, but apparently, somebody else got it to work. I used this as a virtual racing wheel for Forza Horizon 4. I only have a very old racing wheel that I haven't used in years, so this virtual racing wheel was very cool. I did have to mess with the settings in Forza Horizon 4 to get the steering wheel properly calibrated. I did not get any feedback on my racing wheel, but I think that's just Forza Horizon 4 and not particular to PERCNOPS VIRTUAL RIG, but I'm not sure on that. This app is in Early Access and some of the future plans are very cool, like having a virtual motorcycle that you can hop on while playing your favorite motorcycle game! I can't wait for that addition. Anyways, since I haven't used a real life wheel for gaming in several years, I don't feel like I'm the best person to judge how good this virtual setup is compared to the real thing. Can confirm it did work on non-vr titles. I've just tried it on Oculus Quest 2 tethered and air link. I couldn't change the Steam VR to Openruntime (even with Steam VR Beta enabled) as the main one. Ended up sticking with Oculus Rift method. Once Tethered or Air Linked launch, Percnops, then the game of your choice. Also, important when using Percnops click through the double arrows >> for further instruction. Especially when using the racing wheel, sticking the hands to wheels definelty made it easier instead of trying to grab them freely. lol It worked well with Forza 5 Horizon after some remapping.

I tryed this VR tool on Valve Index and everithing was smooth. I had no problem with the install and i can Recomend Desktop+ as a medium to see you game in the Viratul Rig. I do like racing game so i am exited for future updates of the Virtual racing rigs. Overall very good Tool/game.

Percnops virtual rig enables you to play your simulator games using a virtual driving wheel or Xbox controller. You select your wheel or controller , adjust your screen position in VR, and you can also select some other options, such as hands type and virtual environment, and then you are ready to go! Performance is good on my system. I’m looking forward to the future addition of virtual flight cockpits/joysticks. In summary, this is a very useful software for anybody who wants to play their racing games/flight simulators without external hardwear, such as a racing wheel or hot as flight stick. In particular, you can now play your favourite simulators whilst travelling or on holiday. It would be great to just use the controller emulation in full be rather than playing a 2d representation, but that is not currently possible. It would seem to be a relatively simple thing to add, given that the approach is to emulate an Xbox controller, so perhaps the devs will add this in the future. .A must have for those who want a good control mechanism without external controller hardware.
