Vital Shell

After just one game, I was able to cast out any doubt I had about other people's reviews regarding this game. If there ever was a Vampire Survivors successor, this is it, for sure. I don't really want to spent a while typing this review because I'm so excited for my next game, but let me just say this: - Upgrades are so fun and satisfying - Soundtrack is KILLER. Did not expect this. I have a 10" sub and two 5" monitor speakers. Bout blew the house down banging out to the soundtrack. Absolutely amazing - Game seems polished enough with progression to get a lot of playtime - In-game guide, along with many other PSX style inclusions make you feel like you're revisiting a game from your childhood, or even playing a classic from long ago for the very first time - Devs are clearly passionate enough about their community to add mod support so early in development (though they're not plentiful at this moment, this is a huge dub for any game) - Local splitscreen, a rarity on Steam these days, especially for indie games of this quality - Overall aesthetic is genuinely so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool. You're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mech, who's also a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ knight. Doesn't get much better than that

Super fun can see myself putting a good amount of hours into this game
