Treiber Veralltet das letzte Update 2017 hat einige USB Treiber entfernt, vorher konnte ich quasi alle usb Geräte an Steamlink nutzen seit 5 Jahren warte ich darauf das dieser Fehler wieder behoben wird.
Garbage program DO NOT BUY DO NOT BUY.
- no guide on how to use, closest thing is the faq which is very high level - asked for support on how to set up, got a 'it just works' reply from the creators - not clear if it works only with steam link or steam remote play, just figure it out yourself - very barebone app, confusing and just low efffort for 15$
Great. Works with G25 steering wheel. Sometimes it can be fiddly to get it to work. But worth it after a good few hours. I wish the developers would make a steam guide on how to setup this.
Not only is this program pure gold dust its a must for people like me who cloud pc. It says for steam deck but i can tell you this also works on other devices. currently running on a nvidia shield tv pro and shadow pc and its flawless when cabled. this is important if you have weird feedback in racing games with a wheel, the answer is use an Ethernet cable comparison from wifi to cable is night and day. The customer support this dev provides is second to none when i first bought the program there was an issue with the licence this was corrected rapidly by a simple email. the time to reply was lightning quick and helpful. program 9/10 would be 10 but as of yet cant get graphics tablet to work with wacom intous s, other than that amazing, and could be down to wacom them selves or something i might of done wrong will edit if it is fixed soon. customer support 10/10 fantastic highly recommend this!
It works great with my RockSmith guitar cable.
This is a tough one....it fixed my issue with Steam Link not recognizing my Xbox 360 controller in the newer Star Wars Battlefront II. It finally loaded the game with controller settings and not a cursor for mouse and keyboard. BUT the cost is way to high for something that should have worked already. I don't need this program when I connect my wireless xbox dongle to my PC, but when I play through Steam Link I do. It does the job, but at too high a cost.
I recently got the Steam Link Apple TV app to run acceptably for the first time ever, after putting gigabit wired ethernet backhaul into my mesh network (which is a side story) but then I was met with 2 issues - 1) Using AirPods never actually connected the steam streaming Mic properly even though streaming speakers worked fine, and 2) it was controller only, no keyboard and mouse or indeed anything USB. I spent ages trying to troubleshoot both of these issues and failed. Then I saw a few ways to run virtual USB ports over an IP network, but they all needed either expensive proprietary hardware or complex software installs on something like a Raspberry Pi - something I am capable of doing, but also seemingly a lot of effort just to make a keyboard run remotely... Out of exasperation, I plugged my original Steam Link hardware into the TV instead. I knew this would mean 100mb ethernet, lower visual quality and 1080p max visuals, but I figured it would get the kbm working at least...And then I saw that it has a menu item for VirtualHere, which was one of the above USB over the network solutions... One modest purchase later and 30 seconds of config and I now am able to use the steamlink hardware as a Virtual USB hub, connecting my Keyboard, Mouse, 2.4Ghz headset/mic and webcam as if they were directly plugged into my actual computer. I disabled audio and display streaming on the device, so the 100mb network port is plenty for peripheral input streaming only. I then run a 2nd steamlink session from the Apple TV app to handle the display at 4k and 250mb streaming speeds (and also the bluetooth for the wireless xbox Series x controller) and it's easily the fastest and best solution I have found for remote gaming on a budget. I was so close to putting the old steamlink hardware on eBay or something but now I'll probably go looking to buy a couple of spares because it's easily the most elegant way to get USB over IP working as long as your PC runs steam. Putting this review for anyone else that wants to use Apple TV for the steamlink app, but just needs it to work better... *Side Note: All this is dependent on your network config. If you're working wireless end to end maybe you get input lag or voice latency. I'm wired gigabit end to end apart from the 100mb steamlink hardware, and it's absolutely great for me.
it good
Allows for use of the computer on another screen (say downstairs) with the Steam Link Device.
