This is a very old game. I play it for nostalgic reasons, but it's pretty fun for a game that you have to manage everyday. Your goal is to help all of your villagers survive on the island. This is not for someone who wants amazing graphics or a detailed story line.

A nostalgic, simple & relaxing town building game which could almost be retro.

i first played this game when i was a kid with one of those big blocky looking computers so for me i love this game and all the little puzzles it contains.

The third of the Virtual Villagers series, The Secret City is slightly more refined graphically. And has a bunch of new puzzles to tide you over. As always, remember to keep tabs on your island if you want your tribe to survive.

Used to play this game all the time like 10 years ago. Mostly free demos. Now I can afford to buy things I want. Big rush of nostalgia. Simple puzzles (some a little more difficult) and adorable little villagers.

i missed playing this game so much i bought it the moment i saw it was on steam.

Real blast from the past, played this when I was a kid and my villagers always died and tbh They died once already and I had to start over. The time in game passes when you're not playing and honestly I was having trouble keeping up with food. Pro tip you can collect the same mushroom 2-3 times if you pause and place the first kid, hit space to unpause and quickly place a second kid on it quickly hitting space a second time to pause the game, then as soon as you tap space this 4th time to unpause the game you place the third child and if you're quick enough you can triple collect a collect-able or mushroom. this is super useful for the red capped shrooms which give like 25-30 food.
