Its definetively an indie endeavor, it works, the image quality looked impressive...
BUT it still needs some more work, like considerably more.
Like if i select a folder with +60 images, it only selects the first 60 (im guessing thats the limit, its pretty low imo), and then repeats a ton of the images in the gallery.
The menu... works, but is very rough looking, the "Exit" when wanting to exit the current gallery is incredibly basic. I personally disliked the font.
Smoothlocomotion is slow and feels a bit unresponsive, when its mixed with teleport the 2 movement methods try to be used at the same time.
The gallery itself is very basic looking but i didnt mind as the main event are my pictures. But still, a bit more natural looking or different gallery styles would go a long way.
I thought the gallery would be procedurally generated depending on the # of pictures i had, but it seems like its 1 gallery and it just puts places the images in pretedermined spaces. i wish it was procedurally generated
So, while it has some issues and rough edges, as long as you have >60 images in a folder, i think this app while very basic as of today, is pretty cool to show off. (i selected the 1st year pictures of our baby, and she definitively loved the experience)
Recommended because its Free, and it works as intended within its current limits.
