As a user who works on a computer and likes to listen to music constantly, over the years I’ve ended up sticking with music players that cause the least trouble, meaning those that interfere as little as possible with programs that require a lot of processing power. It’s true that there are music players that look visually stunning, but when it really matters, they can become a problem when you open demanding applications such as video editing software. Virildesto, however, is a very pleasant surprise. It’s a player that looks absolutely amazing, truly beautiful, and it doesn’t interfere with system performance at all. I’ve tested it for two days, one session of four continuous hours and another of six hours during a full working day, and I didn’t experience a single issue. It’s true that this is an early version, so for now it doesn’t include everything many users might expect, such as playlist management, collections, and similar features. At the moment, the playback features are fairly simple. It plays a track, displays the artwork, and if you select multiple tracks and drag them in, it will play them one after another. But in return for that simplicity, its beauty is on another level. If you’re like me, a vinyl lover, you’ll fall in love with it from minute one, because visually it’s incredible. It includes some basic settings, such as changing the size and position of the player, but the overall interaction, placing the needle on the record, being able to scratch, or adjust the playback speed, is handled in such a clean way, with minimal CPU usage and a level of style and attention to detail that clearly comes from someone who truly loves vinyl and turntables. Honestly, I think this is going to be my go-to music player from now on. I highly recommend it if you’re a vinyl enthusiast or if you enjoy simple players with clean sound. And oh, I almost forgot, the simulation of the needle sound on the record completely won me over. So, if you love visually polished players, if you enjoyed vinyl, lived through the vinyl era, or still have your own vinyl collection, but you want to listen to music on your computer while working without worrying about performance issues, crashes, or audio slowdowns, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

лучшая вещь, чтобы включить на фоне музыки из папок настоящую современную винилу и наслаждаться старинным образом, слушать музыку. бесполезно-да но зато футуристично, мне как любителю слушать музыку всегда хочется послушать, что то новое, а вот формат оказался интересным, за формат слушания да интересный, но бесполезный, но мне нравится.

Purchased for the potential and for liking the concept, leaving a review because of the disappointment. After using it for months, I really can't understand why you can't fix some of the most simple stuff for this simple but very potential music player software. Totally unusable with multiple displays, loses focus constantly, drag and drop type of behavior (which I assume is the most common use case for this) fails constantly. Also becomes unresponsive at random so there's no way to trust the application to do what it's supposed to (and there are plenty of alternatives). This is not a hardware issue. This really should be usable with multiple displays. Make it work, and it really has a potential to become a proper vinyl deck type of media player. Before that happens, I really cannot recommend it.

really nice idea. as a teacher i use this to play music to class during assignment work. but one thing i dont like is the way it works in wayland right now. dont get me wrong it works but i can see the window icons unlike in windows and feels just abit clunkier to use
