Невзрачная TD с мобильными корнями - Сюжет про очередное буйное зло не успеваешь читать, т.к. диалоги автоматически пропускаются - Элементы дизайна уровня часто перекрывают ячейку для строительства - Описание выбранной башни иногда перекрывает ячейку для строительства - Кнопка старта иногда перекрывает ячейку для строительства - Пауза - это только вызов меню, волны лишь можно ускорить - Во второй и третьей кампаниях уровни повторяются через раз - 30 "жизней" замка могут поглотить тучу громадных драконов, но всего 20 могут истратиться на одного кабана в броне - Застрять в прохождении можно только на паре-тройке уровней, зато как раз наберёте деньжат на пассивные прибавки к врагоукладке, так что гриндить почти и не придётся Для совсем опустившихся игроков, не ищущих какие-то скрытые изюминки и не жалеющих своё время для откровенной халтуры. 5/10

This game plays out like a mobile game, but on the PC with poor optimization and screen resolution. Nearly any movement around the map causes lag, despite the graphics being absolutely at the lowest. In the gameplay, there's limited spacing to put towers, no means to progress if you're stuck dying at a level until you grind the prior levels. There's randomized items you get at the start of the game, but some of those items you can't use yet until the later game. The difficulty scaling is also terrible, even on normal mode. What annoys me the most is because the dev didn't consider variable screen sizes, I'm stuck with Tower info pop up constantly covering a spot where a tower can be placed, thus blocking it. The start button being on the middle of the screen is also bad, and causes early starts unintentionally. I wouldn't recommend King's Guard TD, even to my worst enemies. It's a pain to run on newer PCs.

The game is clearly a mobile port. The first few levels are really easy and the next are really hard. The game has six different towers to shoot enemies, but only three of them are useful (fire, cannon and ballista). It has in game currency, so you will have to grind a bit to purchase better power-ups. However, it was quiote fun once you get the strat down, and have decent upgrades equiped. The review is still negative because of the in-game currency forcing you to play levels over and over again, plus the rewards are too small imo, considering the difficulty level, and become even lower when you repeat levels. The shop prices are too high considering you have to have decent powerups already in the early game in order to progres.
