very boring, not what i expected at all. all the creatures and plants are virtually identical, and the enemies serve no purpose.
It's like watching the first lifeforms as they developed... but this time they get a protector! You! Try not to screw up. If you do... well... nothing bad really happens you just screwed up. Fun game that looks deceptively simple, with many secrets hiding (if you join the discord, though, it's not like anyone's going to keep them from you). Happy little game for big think time.

I think the mixed reviews in such games are because they often do not have a "game" technically, but people expect one. If you want gameplay you will want to avoid this software, but do try the demo on itch to make sure this is something you would enjoy. This is a great, unique a-life evo-sim, reminds me of "Minicraft" (2D Minecraft by Notch). Similar to Biomorphs from "The Blind Watchmaker". There is an old version called "Vilemonic", also there is a free, more updated version for internet browser actually, check the Vilmonic discord server for links, and also more info on development and mechanics. I think better public (in-game?) documentation would be desireable to appeal to more people though.
Fun game but there is one glitch that gives me immense anxiety where the sprites and the skeleton won't watch up. It is only fixed when I reload the game. Besides that one of the best evolution sims out there
Sim earth, you got new legs!
I keep trying this game because it seems interesting but... It feels like they laid all the ground work for a fun game but didn't implement it very well. Like, okay, i can breed new animatroids and they have all these cool different traits but... why? For what purpose? So i can click on them and see "oh wow, this guy looks a little different and is aggressive, that's fun"? lol Maybe i'm not giving it enough of a chance but it seems like a sad attempt at a Sim Life/Sim Earth with no real goal. Maybe if i played it more I'd see the purpose but at the surface it seems like a pointless game. I feel like it should be more of a top down game instead of a game where you're walking around and doing stuff... The tutorial basically teaches you nothing about the Animatroids, it teaches you how to craft and build. Which... i don't even know the purpose of lol There's also zombies that i guess build things and eventually you have to like, push them back, so that seems like an attempt at adding some sort of "conflict" to the game but i don't really understand it either. I'm leaving my comments open in case anyone wants to say "No, but this is why it's fun!" cause it's a game that interests me a lot but i just can't get into it. Maybe it only interests me because i loved Sim Earth as a kid and though this would be an evolution sim like that...
One of those games that have little to no documentation and the dev wants the learning of the game to be thru self-exploration or word of mouth. So you start the game, even after doing the tutorial, not knowing what the hell to do. Most of the game is about the stats of creatures, but they are all super abbreviated on purpose to confuse you on what they mean. So you either have to invest time researching online how to play the game or spend hours doing it yourself. And because this is such an unpopular game, good luck with that. But this is just a low tier game, it ain't worth the the energy to do either.
У игры есть большой потенциал, но реализация шатает. Геемплей тупо тамагочи с элементами эволюции. Короче игра на пару вечеров.
好玩,希望增加更多环境菌菇和动物(海,山,雪地)
Tags: Tycoon&Simulator&Sim&City Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: High learning curve. Lacks the depth of simulation of Dwarf Fortress or Rimworld. Has some Stardew Valley elements with farming and the solo protagonist. Play any of those instead. https://store.steampowered.com/app/413150/Stardew_Valley/ https://store.steampowered.com/app/294100/RimWorld/
