Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

VILLAGE THE SIBERIA is a compact, narrative-driven horror experience developed and published by VikTor that places atmosphere and psychological tension above mechanical complexity. Set in an isolated Siberian settlement buried beneath snow and silence, the game immediately establishes a sense of vulnerability and unease, using its remote location not merely as a backdrop but as an integral part of its identity. From the opening moments, the player is made to feel cut off from the outside world, where cold, darkness, and uncertainty quietly press in from every direction. The story unfolds through the perspective of a young boy living with his family, whose seemingly ordinary life begins to unravel after the appearance of a mysterious parasitic infection. This affliction spreads subtly and disturbingly, transforming people in ways that are not always immediately visible. Rather than relying on overt monsters or constant jump scares, the game builds tension through distrust and observation, forcing the player to question the behavior of those closest to them. Family members become potential threats, and the home—normally a place of safety—slowly turns into a space of paranoia and fear. This focus on intimate horror gives the narrative an unsettling emotional edge, as danger is rooted in relationships rather than distant external forces. Gameplay centers on first-person exploration, light investigation, and narrative progression. Players move through interior spaces and surrounding areas, interacting with objects, listening to dialogue, and piecing together clues that hint at what is happening beneath the surface. The mechanics are deliberately simple, encouraging careful observation rather than reflex-driven action. Decisions about whom to trust and how to interpret subtle changes in behavior form the core tension, even if these choices are not always mechanically deep. This restraint works in the game’s favor at times, reinforcing immersion, but it can also leave players wishing for more interactive systems to reinforce the psychological stakes. Atmosphere is where VILLAGE THE SIBERIA shines most consistently. The snowy environment, dimly lit interiors, and sparse soundscape combine to create a persistent feeling of isolation. Ambient noises—creaking floors, distant winds, and unsettling silences—do more to sustain dread than sudden audio stings ever could. Visually, the game adopts a grounded, slightly rough aesthetic that suits its bleak tone. While not technically impressive, the environments feel believable and oppressive, contributing to the sense that something is deeply wrong beneath the surface of everyday life. Pacing is uneven but intentional. The game often slows down to allow tension to simmer, relying on mood rather than constant escalation. For some players, this deliberate pacing enhances immersion, allowing dread to build naturally. For others, especially those expecting frequent scares or varied gameplay, these quieter stretches can feel drawn out or underdeveloped. The experience is relatively short, designed to be completed in a single sitting, which helps prevent its limitations from becoming overwhelming but also leaves little room for mechanical or narrative evolution. The horror in VILLAGE THE SIBERIA is more psychological than visceral. Rather than confronting the player with constant threats, it instills discomfort through implication and uncertainty. This approach will resonate strongly with players who appreciate slow-burn horror and introspective storytelling, but it may disappoint those seeking intense survival mechanics or frequent enemy encounters. The underlying concept—a parasitic menace eroding trust within a family—is compelling, even if it is not explored as deeply or expansively as it could be. Taken as a whole, VILLAGE THE SIBERIA is best understood as a small, focused horror vignette rather than a fully fleshed-out survival horror game. Its strengths lie in mood, setting, and the unsettling intimacy of its narrative premise, while its weaknesses stem from limited interactivity, brief runtime, and uneven pacing. For players drawn to atmospheric indie horror and psychological tension rooted in storytelling rather than action, it offers a bleak and memorable journey into isolation, fear, and distrust. For those seeking depth, replayability, or mechanical variety, it may feel more like a haunting short story than a complete novel—but one that still leaves a lingering chill long after it ends. There are a few decent titles from indie_games_studio. This is not one of them.
