Your journey will take you to meet terrifying dinosaurs, navigate a dazzling dream world, and require planning to ensure you'll race with enough resources over time. (Editor) What do dinosaurs have to do with Vikings? Vikings so pirates, kind of a hobby in the summertime. Much to the chagrin of all who were the target of this hobby. But dinosaurs, developers, so you can't think of anything better? First of all, in the third part, it's about Nordic affairs again. Since it's a collecting game, it doesn't matter whether the story is good or not. This is about collecting with all the trimmings. So build up buildings, clear paths and beat up the bad guys. This is fun, that's the way it should be. The game contains small mini-games, let yourself be surprised. Very suitable for children and for those who no longer feel like children, ideal for in between. This collecting game is really fun. Deine Reise wird dich zu Furcht einflößenden Dinosauriern führen, durch eine schillernde Traumwelt geleiten und erfordert Planung, damit du im Rennen mit der Zeit stets genug Rohstoffe vorrätig hast. (Herausgeber) Was haben Saurier mit Wikingern zu tun? Wikinger also Piraten, so eine Art Hobby in der Sommerzeit. Sehr zum Verdruss aller die Ziel dieses Hobbys waren. Aber Saurier, Entwickler also fällt euch nix besseres ein? Gleich mal vorweg im dritten Teil, geht es dann doch wieder um nordische Angelegenheiten. Da es ein Sammelspiel ist ist es ja nicht Spiel entscheidend ob die Geschichte was taugt oder nicht. Hier geht es ums Sammeln mit allem drum und drann. Also Gebäude aufbauen, Wege freiräumen und die Bösen verhauen. Dies macht Spass, so soll es sein. In dem Game sind kleine Minispiele enthalten, lasst euch mal überraschen. Sehr Kindgerecht und für alle die sich nicht mehr als Kind fühlen, ideal für zwischendurch. Dieses Sammelspiel macht richtig Spaß. This is something like the 8th or 9th game in the Viking Brothers series of Time Management games, so at this point you know what you're getting. There's no innovation here, so that's a plus or a minus depending on if you're already a fan of the series or not. If you enjoyed Viking Brothers 3 or Viking Sisters 45 or Viking Cousins 853 or Viking Red-Headed Stepchildren 14 or Viking Mother-in-Laws 27 you'll enjoy this; if you didn't, you won't. For those somehow new to this series: you play a quartet of heroes each of whom has their own unique specialty that is interchangeable between them depending on the needs of the plot and the level. They're also all siblings except when they're not such as the level where one of them has an aunt that the others never heard of. Anyway, most levels only use two of the four, so there's usually a strong one and one that's either a druid or witch. (The blonde girl who looks like a Valkyrie and the red-haired male dwarf are the strong ones.) And you usually only use them once or twice per level; otherwise it's your standard time management game of sending minions all over the map to collect debris, gather food, chop wood, dig up stone, prospect for gold and mine for gems. Levels can be played on either easy mode or casual mode, with the difference being you are either timed or aren't timed, but you can earn 3 gold stars per level either way. I think. I played it without a timer as I wanted to simply chill and enjoy the good writing and fascinating plot and characterizations, though kids who like racing the clock can play it on that setting if they want. All achievements are possible with minimal grinding, having only to do levels 49 and 37 twice, so a thumbs up if you're a 100% completer. For $2.00 or so, the current price during the Steam Autumn Sale, you get a dozen or two dozen hours of fun, with 50 standard and 15 free bonus levels. I haven't tried the 15 bonus levels yet, but that's probably around 3 more hours of content. So, no complaints; I haven't tried it under Windows 11 but it runs fine on either Windows 7 or Windows 10. I give it a Viking Grandfathers thumbs up to those who are already fans of the series.

Each level will have a set of goals which you will have to complete in order to finish the level. If playing against the time then you will have to complete all the goals as fast as you possibly can. Then upon completing you will gain one to three stars depending on the time it took you to finish the level. If you have gained enough stars in the prior levels then you will unlock the next level allowing you to continue on your adventure. There is a tutorial which will help you as you progress, this can be turned if you don’t want the information to help you. You will start from a camp somewhere on the level, from here there are pathways leading around the level. In your way on the paths are resources and other obstacles, you will have to collect the resouces and get by the obstacles in some way. This will allow you to proceed further along the paths unlocking new areas and allow you to complete all the goals. Some items cannot be collected unless you have certain resources, hovering your cursor over and item or obstacle will give you some details on what is required. Scattered around the level are some buildings which can give you some resources or allow you to perform some other function such as open another area. These buildings will require some work on them before they can start giving you some resources continuously over a small amount of time. You can gain resources from other places like trees, shrubs and chests. You also have a Booster Bar at the bottom of the screen, which will fill up over time. There can be multiple boosters at varying places along the booster bar. It’s up to you which booster you would like to select depending on your current situation. As you move from one level to the next on the world map, there are some Jig-Saw pieces which will come available to you as you complete the main levels. These jig-saw pieces are a little bonus game where you can gain bonus stars. Also hidden around some levels there are some Owls which you can click on and collect. In the settings there are options for Sound and Music Volume Sliders, System Cursor, Full Screen and Show Tutorial and that’s your lot. Viking Heroes II is a fun little game which can be relaxing to play or you can play it with more of a challenge. Most achievements can be obtained as you progress through stages. And you don't have to earn 3 stars for every stage. No matter what strategy you approach in the first half, there is no risk of getting blocked. However, the second half and bonus stages require good resource management. If you focus too much on upgrading, you will not be able to proceed due to lack of resources. ▲ Achievements For me, only one achievement was a bit confusing. [b]Dangerous Trails - Encountered an enemy patrol 30 times[/b] The achievement description explains that you need to meet 30 enemies on patrol. However, this achievement doesn't count how many times you encounter enemies as Vikings. Meaning to meet an enemy with a boromere and kill them 30 times. You just need to complete this achievement at stage 29, where one giant carnivorous fish appears. Defeat enemies 30 times with boromere before completing a stage.

Tolles Flötenspiel! Und das wortwörtlich und zudem völlig jugendfrei. ;-P Nachdem nun 90% der interessierten, vornehmlich männlichen, Leserschaft leider wieder weggeklickt haben, kann ich ja noch ein wenig zum Spiel schreiben. :-) Wir spielen also wieder die Gebrüder Viking & Co. KG. Da müssen etliche Wege freigeräumt und Gebäude gebaut und Rohstoffe gescheffelt werden, nebenbei noch etliche Leuten geholfen, Gegner beseitigt und am Ende natürlich die ganze Region gegen eine bösen Schamanen und Naturkatastrophen gerettet werden. Das übliche Tagesgeschäft halt. Diesmal gibt es einen Haufen Dinosaurier, die man stellenweise füttern, oder in mehreren Schritten aus dem Kartenbereich verscheuchen muss. Und am Ende wird dann auch wie angekündigt geflötet, versprochen. :-) Die Karten sind wirklich schön gestaltet, die Aufgaben immer interessant gemacht. Es sind mit den Bonusmissionen wohl so um die 65 Karten und ein paar Mahjongspiele dazu. Alle Steam Errungenschaften sind im Spielverlauf leicht zu schaffen, ich musste am Ende noch etwas nachspielen, weil mir noch ein Katapult und mehrere verscheuchte Geister gefehlt haben. Alles in Allem bekommt man für wenig Geld also viel Inhalt und tollen Spielspaß für Zwischendurch. Daher gibt es verdientermaßen auch heute wieder mein Fazit: kaufen, kaufen, kaufen!

Now this may sound weird but it's how i review games. This is a good proper game and i see now faults in it, if it is your type of game go for it. But it did nothing for me, you just paint by numbers, no real strategy or skill required. You just do the tasks in order and that's it. So be real sure this type of game is for you.

I like these sort of games. Very friendly to look at. You can make it as easy or as difficult as you like. Overall a very charming game
