Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White

I play a lot of these types of HOG/Point and Click adventure games. This one has a few frustrating moments where finding what you're supposed to be doing can be annoying, especially if you're trying to click on a specific area (knowing it's the correct one) but the game doesn't read it. There's no fast travel on the map, making you backtrack quite a bit. There's nothing to indicate you have an option to do something in an area other than hint (which isn't helpful at all). Hint is SLOW to recharge and doesn't actually assist you. For example..you may need to find an object to complete a small puzzle. However, hint won't tell you where you should go next or what you might need to do. Instead, hint will lighten up the puzzle you need help with in the first place. Absolutely annoying. The Waterfall puzzle was a pain and even though I knew what to do, it took a lot of clicking to get the game to register. The minigame puzzles are okay..nothing really special. The HOG puzzles are awful, for the most part. It's one thing to make them difficult but just putting really blurry, indistinct or faded items isn't an appropriate way to do it, in my opinion. It can be hard to even know what you're looking at sometimes. But, the story was good, so there's that.

Great interactive time filler.

I was kinda enjoying this HOG for 2.6 hours. But at some point after returning to this game I was brought back to the very first location where everything has been already discovered. So the game is stuck, I can't proceed. Sadge, so that's why my dislike

[h2] Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White [/h2] I'm very indecisive if I should recommend this game or not. At first it has a realy charming, nostalgic touch. But as it progresses you just hang there with a very boring and bland story. With riddles that give you little to non instructions and some pretty buggi controls. I have to say, I wasn't completely unentertained but in the end I think it's just not worth it.

Habe das Spiel in gut 4 Stunden durchgespielt gehabt. Es ist nicht wirklich lang, aber die Geschichte ist schon recht interessant. Es gibt einige Hidden Objekt Scene und auch nette Rätsel zu lösen. Im Angebot gekauft, würde ich es empfehlen.

An old, but still enjoyable toy, based on a fairly famous novel. It’s quite nice to brighten up the evening with this.

I love this game ! I may be coming from a place of nostalgia, but it's genuinely a very fun game. The visuals are very pleasing, and it's a very relaxing game. I first played this game in 2010, with my grandmother, and we played it everyday. I thought I'd buy it again not only for her, but for myself :D

A funny game in the style of old games, thanks to the developers for such nostalgia) In general, the plot is interesting, I advise you to play.
