Venture Kid

A neat homage to the 8 bit Mega Man games. Short, simple and straightforward but with a bit of a challenge. I did have some issues with the controller inputs not being mapped properly, but once I got it working I enjoyed playing through the first few stages and I should spend more time with it. If I have to nitpick, I did notice the game being oddly too linear, compared to Mega Man games which are known to be non linear in its level design. It would have been more challenging if it was made non-linear. Regardless I do recommend the game. Worth it!

Cute little Mega man like game. Pick it up when it's cheap and you will have about 2-3 fun hours if youre into these type of games.

Un plataformas acción con estética de 8 bits, tipo Megaman de Nes. Un control muy bien implementado. Como en todos los juegos de este tipo, tenemos unas fases de plataformeo y acción matando a los monstruitos que vallan saliendo. Y al finalizar el tipico jefe que hay que aprenderse los patrones para derrotarlo. Otra opción muy interesante es que tenemos una tienda, simplemente apretando al botón start seleccionamos tienda y podemos comprar algunas mejoras y vidas que te harán falta... Sin duda si te gustan los juegos de 8 bits de este tipo, seguro que Venture kit te encantara..

I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.

after beating the game i can say that i really enjoyed it. this game is quite hard so if you're new to video games i woudn't recomend it. but this game was a short but sweet game that i really enjoyed. i'd 100% recomend it if you dont know what to play. Will admit its pretty overpriced looking back, jeez.

A fun game that you will probably enjoy if you like the classic Mega Man titles (1-11). I'm not a pro gamer but I was able to clear hard mode (and there are two lesser difficulties available if it's too much for you). Overall I had a good time. Not the greatest pixel art in the world IMO but the chiptune was pretty good and the stages/bosses were neat. The only thing I ran into during my playthrough is that pausing the game crashed the game every time. Not sure if that has been fixed (I played this a long time ago). Hopefully so because otherwise it was a good experience! Edit: It is still not fixed. The game crashes 100% of the time when you unpause. Apparently others have this same issue. That's a shame.

Очень странный платформер. И все вроде бы ничего, но при игре часто возникает ощущение микро лага, очень неприятно, это следствие чего, плохой анимации или? Я не понимаю. На третьем уровне начинается странная и ненужная какая то геометрия уровней с непонятными решениями, в виде тупиков с катящимися валунами Ну такое себе, отзыв скорее даже отрицательный, чем нейтральный. Покупать это либо по скидке ценой в спичечный коробок, либо не покупать вообще
