Only recommend cuz you can buy dirt cheap not on Steam. Got for $2 Pros - Story is actually good especially near the end - Characters and voice acting is great! Actually enjoyed some of the quest - Ship combat is simple, but effective. - Firearms are OP, but admittedly fun. Just quickfire to delete any enemy especially with late game weapons Cons - No proper tutorial, went all game without crafting a single item cuz I don't know how(not joking) - Land combat is atrocious against animals. They constantly run underneath your character making you float on top of them and impossible to hit them while you take damage. - Chest/Loot is pointless. Most only have something pointless like 60 gold. A ship cost 25k so have fun... - Skills are terrible. The entire Crow tech tree for example is worthless and since your ship is trash in the beginning your just gonna prioritize boring stat boosting "skills" for your ship first. - Exploration is pointless. Loot is garbage and the only other thing to get from exploring is experience to level up, but the skills from leveling up are trash. - No outfit customization in a RPG? The only thing you can change is your hat - Quest sometimes don't update the quest marker so unless you know who and where the related NPC's are for each quest, your screwed. - Many quest ruin your relationship with factions so its best to not even do them since they aren't related to the Main Quest. - Choices matter? Felt more like you decide who live and who doesn't, but it never really matters. Everything seemed to still have the same outcome. - Performance is unacceptable. Stutters and crashes somewhat often. For me it was when it rained in cities or random ship battles. - Serial Key validation is annoying and confusing. 99% of ALL players never figured it out, you can verify this with steam achievements. Devs did it to themselves... - Big step down from Two Worlds 2 in every way. No clue what the devs were on. Just make 2 Worlds 3 already.
