Can't recommend this game as it appears that I am too far away from the game server and I get dropped out 100% of the time with a 'connection to server lost'. No communication errors for web browser applications running when I start, only the game has a problem, AND this is in offline mode. The game could be good if I could play it, but for now I can't.
Fun game to play and frequent updates.
The good: The UI and hud was fairly easy to comprehend, it just had a bit of its own learning curve. The game also looks fairly good and the fact that animals move and interact and can get scared was likeable. Not to mention that you also have to pay attention to -what- you eat and drink and that there is a lot of status effects that can kick in. The characters skills and stats were also quite likeable, as they will make an impact later on in what you can do. Now I didn't sink in many hours in it, but I know this one is not for me in its current release. The Bad: Well I don't quite need to state the obvious, the UI and HUD could feel better with a new look, and the combat. I had also for some reason believed that there was gonna be a different work grind in this game that probably would make me play it more. I had thought there would be more mechanics towards -me- manually doing a lot of stone sharpening, wood-cutting, butchering and weaving, so, mini-games if you will. Not sure why I thought this, but per default think it would work very well together with this game to have a system like that. Why? Because that is where the reward of the challenge lies in a primitive life, knowing how long you should work on a stone or stick until it is sharp enough, knowing where to cut into the wolf or fox to keep the pelt intact so it keeps you warmer when you put it on. Knowing how much force you should use to crack open a coconut without spilling any contents. But this is also quite complex to design and put in, which is fair, I dont expect miracles, but I am sure it would fit into this game. So the summary after that sidetrack is: Based on that the crafting system is just "click on a list to craft" (if you have the ingredients of course) I personally can't recommend this game. Gather the stuff + click craft + wait... gather the stuff + click craft + wait.. I'd prefer the rhythm to be more like: Gather stuff + interact two items (or more) = see what happens.
my wigwam
I don't feel like making a full on review so let me speed through everything i've disliked The map feels so empty, the stamina runs out in 30 seconds, there's way too many rats roaming around, the crafting system is everything but intuitive, the map feels so empty, there's no pig, sheep or cows or any basic animals, but there's all kinds of not-friendly animals like mammoths and foxes?! The game is so inhospitable for building and developping a settlement, theres no flat surface, the world takes so long to render so most of the time you stare at rolling hills of untextured grass or sand, the map feels so empty. I normally appreciate a good grindy game, but it's just not worth it on this game because i don't enjoy the surroundings. Pros : The sky looks good
The game is still under development, but it is playable as well, and offers great fun for those who love the challenge. In terms of genre, it’s an MMO-Survival-Sandbox-Open World with a deep Crafting system. The development of the character develops automatically by machining the tools we use, resulting in newer and newer Skills. The gameplay is realistic, set in prehistoric times. Nature is rich in living things. The times of the day change, we become hungry and thirsty, the constant work takes the focus, and the constant movement-swimming makes us tired over time. ...I like... A természet élőlényekben gazdag. Változnak a napszakok,éhesek és szomjasak leszünk,a folyamatos munka igénybe veszi a fókuszálást,a folyamatos mozgás-úszás pedig idővel fáradtá tesz. ...nekem tetszik...)
amazing graphics, really in depth gameplay with lots to do. i almost died some times but im just too skilled
I tried with this game, I really did. I was methodically working through the interactive tutorial one step at a time & I must have been at it for about forty minutes & was still only halfway through the basic tutorial title list. I was trying to learn to drag a banana from out of my hide bag & drop it in the world & found I couldn't do it despite trying repeatedly. I then noticed this particular tutorial alone was sixteen pages long & I wasn't very far into it. The tutorial list I had been working through was also very long & I wasn't anything like near to finished. So I cut my losses & tried to just build a character & play the game. The game wouldn't let me, I just got a message I didn't understand. Apparently, I can only have my tutorial character. It seemed I was in first person & couldn't see 'me'. Then I got sort of tired & a bit headachey. I did get savaged to death by a wolf during one tutorial which I suppose was quite interesting but I felt this game was better suited to those with more life still ahead of them rather than behind them. Hoping now to get my money back.
