우왕~ 추억의 하프라이프 뱀슬모드 잼나게했는데, 이후로 오랜만이넹 Redlight 맵도 만들어주세요
TL;DR: Don't buy. It's dead and has little content. Go play the HL1 mod instead. As a bit of a heads-up, I personally LOVE the original mod and was introduced to the concept by the Xbox 360 indie game. In fact, it’s my favorite GoldSrc mod to play to this day (besides CS 1.6) and it’s not just because of the decades of custom maps out there. This game however, while oftentimes incredibly cheap, just isn’t worth your money. The positives out of the way, I do appreciate that there is a decent selection of maps, not as much as the mod, but also significantly more than the 2 or 3 maps on the 360 game. In general, this IS better than the last console counterpart in virtually every way. The redesigns for the vampires and some of the maps I think do a good job upholding the original aesthetic while updating them for more modern standards. Even the hud and sound design is lifted straight from the mod and for the hud elements at least, cleaned up to look slightly better. The overall focus on the past in this game is highly appreciated as they also ported over the retro versions of maps if they had significant enough layout differences while still maintaining the original blurry HL texturework. It really does feel like the dev took his own design ideas all those years ago and just recreated them. The game also has bots on both a beginner difficulty and a more standard difficulty (which mostly just changes the damage they do), and although they don’t respect vampire abilities like invisibility or pathfind particularly well on elevated surfaces, it’s good that they’re there regardless since unfortunately, this game is dead. I don’t mean “there isn’t a large amount of players left on it” or even a “there’s a group who wants to play it but can’t easily play online” like The Ship. As of writing this there are 0 people in-game, I was legitimately the only person on the planet playing it as of a few minutes ago and one of the last reviews before mine was closer to a year ago, so it’s safe to assume that unless you buy it for your friends too, you’re not playing with anyone. It is pretty easy to set up and from what I could see, it looks like the servers might be P2P (or at least not relying on a constantly running main server), but of course I couldn’t say because there was no one else playing. There’s also a practice mode which is just offline play, but you can have bots in multiplayer so it really doesn’t serve a purpose. This game does also have some issues, both related to and unrelated to content. With the content, while I do like that they have 10 different maps, most of them aren’t well decorated with props or secrets or anything and are very, VERY small. The maps in the mod weren’t only big, but had several paths and means for vampires to sneak up on hunters, really giving that horror feel. Most of the maps here are smaller arenas with maybe two or three extra paths, funnily enough the best maps ARE the retro maps as they’re not only aesthetically unique, but they allow for the most experimentation and ways of approach, although it’s mostly the smaller maps that are ported from the mod so classic Asylum or Frost are left out. The maps themselves only do the one TDM mode which is fine since that’s what the original mod was best at, but it sucks they didn’t bring back modes like Capture The Cross or anything. There’s also only two classes per team as opposed to 3 (no Louis or Eightball) and the vampire abilities seem to mostly be the same vein of invisibility, since all the maps are at night there’s no sunlight ability or even a body heat ability. The main difference with the vampires is the resurrect time/health and the slayers have different loadouts. I feel as though if you couldn’t bring back all 3, you could at least have some differences in things like customization, either aesthetically or in gear. There are some slight issues with things such as movement and menu controls. I understand this is unreal engine and it’s hard to recreate that smooth movement from HL, but everything feels slightly sluggier to me, even the leaps don’t feel as powerful as they once were. Things like the menu, while aesthetically smoother also lacks basic functionality like using your mouse to navigate, binding controls also seems to be a chore since the game’s picky on what buttons it’ll actually use. There’s not even any settings as far as I can tell. Normally, I don’t complain about small things like that since in the grand scheme of things, not bounding a button to M5 or not changing the audio in game isn’t a dealbreaker, but added to everything else the game feels…unfinished, a good proof of concept, but a proof of concept nonetheless. I do hope that ideas like this get revisited in the future by people and it is worth noting that you could probably still enjoy this game, but it’s just a worse version of the HL mod that you can get for free.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I miss when the vampires had stupid faces :(
A calling back to an old Half-Life mod that had mild success in relation to other popular mods of the time. Definitely a ton of fun as it is a new spin on the Half-Life formula and truly expressing how versatile the engine and community is with the tools, resources, and desire to create. Just as a refresh for new players (not that I expect there to be many), Vampire Slayer was a round based, FPS. team deathmatch that pitted a team of Humans against Vampires. Each Human has a unique load-out of weapons while Vampires have unique abilities. Guns were solid archetypes of established Half-Life counterparts with all new models for characters and guns on new, original maps. I can't forget to mention the cool soundtrack and the included AI controlled bots. Now, the sad truth, the new game. The original creator re-introduces this "improved" version to Steam. The visuals are more up-to-date with less unique artistic direction and with certain things missing, it isn't the best. However, at $5 USD, it is a fun experience for a bit then you notice that no one is playing so bots are your only choice unless you join the community Discord.
This is one of the best games to play on repeat! So don't miss out on this game. And nominate it, for it' great game play.
Game is playable but it needs a lot of work so buy game if you like the old.
