Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova

Vampire Legends The True Story of Kisilova is a well written, engaging and suspenseful hidden object adventure game where you get to meet interesting and lively characters. The townsfolk can be lovely, mysterious or downright spooky, and the hidden object sections are well drawn with plenty of objects to find. Some of the objects are very tiny and blend well into the background. But that's ok, as there's a hint button if you get stuck. The puzzles range from easy to solve to being challenging and needing creativity and thought. I liked the puzzle where you had to figure out the proper locations for each book on a bookshelf, by looking at the symbols on the bookshelf and the book spines. It's challenging, but not too hard, and feels rewarding once you figure it out. The puzzle where you had to figure out how to add the right amount of ingredients to make rakia was also interesting and challenging, and fun to solve. This game is very replayable and the puzzles and quests are well thought out. I found the lemon juice puzzle (where you had to find lemon juice and salt to remove rust) in the bonus story really enjoyable for some reason. Possibly because it was quite clever and the sound effects were very soothing. The soundtrack is excellent, with a moody atmosphere that matches the grim events in the story. You can also listen to different musical pieces in the game in the bonus features once you've finished playing the game, which I liked. The main game has one ending (which was enjoyable), and the bonus game has 2 endings which you can choose from. I liked both endings for the bonus game because they're both so different, and feel suspenseful and impactful. Both endings make you feel like your choices matter. I also enjoyed the game's bonus features where you can watch two short informative documentaries about the history of vampire myths in Serbia and the lovely photos of the village portrayed. The bonus features are available once you finish playing the game.

Histories with vampires is something I like, so right off the bat, this was pretty good before it had even started. With the limited time the main game lasts, it's quality over quantity, all though a bit easy. In fact the bonus history and game lasted as long as the main game, or even longer! Compared to the main game it was a bit frustrating, because it was less story, more guessing, and simply chaotic. I came to a point where I just wouldn't spend more time guessing...I had in fact come far, but I started hitting the hint button, which is normally a tabu for me. All over, the game was fine, but I enjoyed the main game for the story (it was exciting), but I only liked the bonus for how it ended. That is by no means any spoiler. It's a bit unusual. For once I played one of these games, not having to focus on doing achievements. No collectibles either, and I was able to complete the game as I went a long with the story. I think you should get this game on a sale, it's a bit short, and the bonus wasn't really that amusing. P.S. There are two videos (5+10 minutes) about the town of Kisilova, and one interview about vampires.

Хорошая игрушка на вечер. Косяк был только в одном месте, в переводе на русский язык, текст сместился и невозможно читать историю мэра. А так было интересно проходить.

总体来说还是很不错的解谜小游戏，界面菜单还有伪纪录片可以看代入感已经很好了，基本上认真解谜3小时左右就能通关（感觉最后结局有点仓促，但是留下伏笔紧接DLC还行吧）

Beautiful art style. and since its based on a true story, its very informative too. really enjoyed this thrilling game

Ein wirklich gelungenes Abenteuer-Spiel, das nie langatmig wird. Empfehlenswert. ps. Unbedingt auch das Video zum Spiel in den Optionen anschauen. :-)

For a Vampire game it wasnt very scary.If you like HOG games get it when its on sale.7/10
