very satisfying gameplay loop and improving upon builds is well thought out.

**Recommended** I received a review copy of Vampire Hunters through Keymailer. That said, if I didn't like the game, I'd say it. Anyone who's followed my reviews knows I'm not going to recommend something just because I got a free copy. Now that that's out of the way... This game is just plain fun. At first, I thought it was going to be way too chaotic. Once you start stacking a bunch of weapons together, I expected the entire screen to become a complete mess. Somehow... it doesn't. Even when you've got guns firing in every direction, explosions going off, and enemies everywhere, I never felt lost. I always knew what was happening, and that's honestly impressive. The progression is another thing that kept me playing. Every run feels like you're working toward something, and I constantly found myself saying, "Alright... one more run." I always wanted to see what kind of build I'd end up with next or what weird weapon combination I could make work. One feature I don't think gets enough attention is the bestiary. I love that every enemy you defeat gets added, and you can go back and read about them later. It's such a simple feature, but it adds a lot of personality to the game. Honestly, I wish more games included a bestiary because I always end up reading them. The music also surprised me. Instead of looping the same track over and over, it changes enough that I never got tired of listening to it. It's a small detail, but after playing a lot of survivor-like games, I definitely noticed it. I also like that the different classes actually feel different. The weapons don't all blend together, and experimenting with different builds is half the fun. I haven't put a crazy amount of hours into the game yet, but I already know this is one I'm going to keep coming back to. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite games in this genre. ...And can we talk about the achievements for a second? **Over 150 achievements.** Holy crap. If you're someone who likes chasing 100% completion, you're going to have plenty to do here. If you enjoy Vampire Survivors-style games but want something that feels fresh, I definitely recommend giving Vampire Hunters a shot. The first-person perspective ended up working way better than I expected, and I'm really glad I gave it a chance. --- If you're into honest gaming reviews and first impressions, I also cover games over on my YouTube channel, **RawImpressions**.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I stumbled upon this game by complete accident when searching for information about the Vampire Crawlers roadmap. I was unsure at first because the title on its own suggests this game is one of countless others trying to cash in on Vampire Survivors' popularity, but it was on a hefty sale (70% off) so I figured I may as well. I'm SO glad I did. It's difficult to quantify what truly makes this different to other games in the genre but if I were to compare it to anything, it would actually be Megabonk, not Vampire Survivors. Megabonk is a fun enough experience, though it becomes increasingly apparent how shallow and stunted its progression system is once you realise there are only three stages and that runs are, by and large, comprised of you running around barren, disjointed maps picking up random items that don't add any appreciable buffs to your character until you've gathered several dozen of them - it gets tiresome quickly. Vampire Hunters has significantly more stages (I believe 9 main stages, if I counted correctly) and is comparable to the base game of Vampire Survivors in that respect. There isn't a lot to discover in each map but each one feels well thought-out in a way that not even Vampire Survivors achieves, in my opinion. What really makes this different, though, is that you can actually WIN your runs. Each stage has an objective you must complete once you hit the 30-minute mark, such as collecting two ankhs and placing them into each of the Sphinx's paws on the Egypt stage. It's a really interesting spin on the formula and adds a new kind of satisfaction when the celebratory fireworks display begins. Progression here is fascinating. As an interesting twist, enemies only have a percentage chance to drop "Souls" (i.e. experience). The game is well balanced around this, though you can increase not only the chance of enemies dropping Souls but how much each Soul is worth. So with the right build, you can gain crazy levels super fast. And if you pour points into your Luck stat, it's entirely possible to gain 4+ levels on one weapon with a single level-up. Each character has their own skill tree with each invested skill points providing a meaningful upgrade. I haven't really delved into the other characters yet because I'm having too much fun running Aquarius + Revolver on the Scout, but I'll try and update this review once I've given them a go. One minor point of criticism is that the game doesn't really explain what each of the three different skill point types are or how you earn them beyond "playing the game". Going back to that Aquarius I mentioned: Vampire Hunters' analogue to the Arcana system in Vampire Survivors is the Constellation system. You can pick exactly one (1) before a run and each of them drastically changes how you play the game - and there are a lot to choose from one, with the caveat that they must all be unlocked through gameplay. To use Aquarius as an example: it locks your primary, secondary and passive weapons to but a single choice each. There are 10 (yes, 10) primary weapon slots, 2 secondary weapon slots, and 2 passive weapon slots. Whichever primary weapon you select before your run is the only primary weapon you will ever see in your level up choices for that run. In my case, that meant I had 10 Revolvers firing on all cylinders by the 10-minute mark, and since each Revolver gets either a 25% or 50% damage boost (depending on its level) for each other Revolver in your arsenal, my character had a 500% damage boost by the end of the run and utterly melted bosses as a result. I won't say too much more because, if nothing else, I still have a lot of the game left to discover. If there's one thing I will say, it's that Vampire Hunters has something that Vampire Survivors doesn't:
a vampire. And not just any vampire. THE vampire.
Vampire Hunters is the kind of game that starts with you fighting a few vampires and ends with your screen completely covered in bullets, numbers, enemies, and questionable life choices. The gameplay is ridiculously addictive. You start off weak, pick up upgrades, stack weapons, and slowly turn yourself into an unstoppable killing machine. Watching your build snowball until you're deleting entire waves of enemies is incredibly satisfying. There's something really fun about experimenting with different weapons and upgrades to see just how broken you can make your character. Runs are quick enough to keep you saying “one more,” which is exactly how you accidentally lose an entire evening. It's simple, chaotic, and doesn't take itself too seriously. **9/10 — came to hunt vampires, stayed because watching numbers go up is apparently my favorite activity.**
Very satisfying gameplay, still unlocking everything but having a blast with the tools available so far.
