Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Valheim is a collaborative exploration and survival game for 1-10 players set in a procedurally generated world inspired by Norse mythology. Craft powerful weapons, construct elaborate halls, and slay mighty foes to prove yourself to Odin!

Discover an immersive procedurally generated world, with different biomes that each have their distinct environments, unique resources and dangerous enemies. Become a Viking and sail the open seas in search of lands unknown, alone or with up to nine friends!

The Tenth World has been corrupted by hateful forces, in the shape of mighty regional bosses known as the Forsaken. Hone your skills with axes, blades and bows, and prepare yourself by crafting the very best equipment – for it is only by defeating these Forsaken that you will advance in your progress and prove yourself to the Allfather.

Raise Viking longhouses and build bases that offer reprieve from the dangers ahead. Whether you build a small shelter, an entire village or a mountain-side fortress, defence and structural integrity are important, as is decorating it for maximum comfort!

As you discover new materials, you will learn new recipes for crafting, building and cooking – all that a Viking might need! The food system is rewarding rather than punishing, granting you boons and benefits depending on what you eat, and is directly tied to the combat system, where your health and stamina might be just the thing that makes a difference between life and death.
Community-translated languages
In addition to the officially supported languages, Valheim has several community-translated languages. As the name would suggest, these are all translated by fans and members of the community, and the process is frequently ongoing. Thus, we cannot guarantee the quality or completeness of any specific translation.
Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

pros: Base building Exploration before mistlands Bosses (only in co-op, good luck taking down these absolute damage sponges in solo or even two player if you're not seasoned Valheim veterans with 300 hours) cons: Unfathomable amounts of grinding is the only filler between exploration and new bosses/enemies. It takes an UNREASONABLE amount of time to make technological advancements in this game, and as I'll mention soon in this review, the journey to obtaining said advancements is nowhere near interesting. It is repetitive and boring. Exploration of the Mistlands is the worst thing ever. What were they even thinking? Let's make the player blind while exploring terrain that even Kyle Crane himself would have trouble traversing through, let alone the Valheim protagonist who can climb 10 meters only to sit and wait the next 5 real time minutes to recharge their stamina. Combat is okay for the most part, but every single time you get to a new area, this is no buffer. You are immediately harrassed by enemies that are all faster than you and one shot you and the stamina recharges so slow even with being rested and having meads and all the best food, that you will always lose. You just have to deal with that for the next 10 hours of grinding for the next armor set

5 Years in EA... What a joke eh?
is good
I've never felt so immersed in a game before. I wish I could experience this game all over again.
do NOT ♥♥♥♥ with the trees
Greatest survival craft game of all time. The actual goat of survival games. The atmosphere for Valheim is unmatched as well as the music. The simplistic graphics make the game that much more enjoyable. I spent almost 500 hours on this game and still haven't fought half the bosses the game has to offer. The grind is very fun and honestly never gets boring to me. Enemies feel well balanced the and the skill sets are fun to level up. I spend a majority of my time building villages. Going into 1.0 ill probably finish up my world and then start a brand new play through. People complain about this game taking so much time to hit 1.0 and that other survival games hit 1.0 quicker but those games still can't match the vibe Valheim gives off. I probably wont have the game finished until i invest another 500 - 1000 hours. The game has so much content and replay ability that its worth the money, on top of this there is a ton of mods you can get to make the game never ending with content.
