Usagi Yojimbo: Way of the Ronin is a new, old school game based on the classic Dark Horse Comic Graphic Novel by Stan Sakai, and seen in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles over the years. This is an old school, simple, fun Retro brawler done in the vein of the classic TMNT Stand Up Arcade game.

Reviews
Simple, not much happening. Almost no feedback when you hit an enemy, leaving combat extremely unsatisfying. No attempt at balancing the moves relative to each other. Combos are boring. There's lots of bugs, like for example you can't light attack to the left very long before Usagi just turns around. Story very boring too, so there's really no reason to play. There are much better games of this genre.
Simple, straight forward slasher side scrolling action!
Isännättömän Jänis-samurain aika. Sivusta kuvattu toiminta. Dialogi on tylsää. Pääosin Usagi pyytää pahisryhmää päästämään hänet ohitse, mutta pahisryhmä ilmoittaa vetävänsä Usagia turpaan. Sitten tapellaan. Arvosanaksi 3,5 kuollutta ninjaa 5:sta.
As a game, it is very bad. Brainless combat, no challenge, horrible animation, repetitive stages, terrible hit detection. Arrows seem to never hit. Lining up shots is near impossible especially with flying enemies because there are no shadows. Just press buttons until all things die. As a Usagi Yojimbo story, however, it's pretty solid. You can tell Sakai himself had a hand in it, as the characters are well represented and it's nice to see them, I honestly wish they were involved more and that there were more of them. It builds upon Usagi's most famous and epic story about Grasscutter and for the most part is a pretty good narrative. Honestly worth playing for that alone. At 5 bucks, don't bother, but if you can find it cheap or free, it's worth spending an hour and a half mindlessly hacking through this for a very nice story if you're a fan of the character.
