Funny little game with good puzzles
Sympatycznie spędzone dwie godzinki, choć przydałyby się dwa różne zakończenia - dla dobrze i źle wykonanego rytuału.
Me tomó como 10 horas terminarlo. GOTY
I first encountered this little gem back when the creator themselved posted about this in a little Point 'n' Click Facebook Group I happen to be a member of, and it was their first outing developing a game and so I want to be kind, and perhaps kinder than I ought to be. The Game itself is pretty full of backtracking or maybe that was just my experience in figuring out what went where, the creation of the Robe in Particular had me back and forth the floors a number of times which brings me to my first suggestion - a Quality of Life Upgrade to the Elevator Mechanic. I should be allowed to select what floor I want rather than it being strictly for Ground and Third Floor, In addition and this is quite logical I should have been able to cut tape to open new branching paths once I located the scissors. These were logical solutions which are absent from this title. The ending is somewhat farcical and it feels as though I spent half of my time with the cult rather than going to the various rooms in the high-rise I had been kidnapped in and interacting with the neighbours/kidnapper. Also the Cults room makes absolutely zero sense, it's far larger than it would appear within the framework of the highrise. There's just so many choices that were made that don't make canonical sense but just jump the shark to get to what the creator clearly thought was the cool bit, the ending with the ritual. It's a good first effort, and I admit I had over 100 titles I was revisiting and knew full well this was just going to be a Chaser Game between some of the larger titles but I was left feeling let down by some choices. It's a good plot, I'd have leant more into the kidnapping angle, I'd have had the child mess with the kidnapper more. More visits to various rooms, more characters/tenants. I'm trying not to be too harsh/cruel, and I loved that I saw the addition of a streamer mode which would change the audio. I'm not a streamer but I do like where you're going with this. That's a positive. The first half of the game had me hooked, the second? Honestly once I got to the cult I was basically done with this game. It ruined it for me.
Very funny, and a very qualitative production for the price. Horror enjoyers do not hesitate !
A quite short but very well put together traditional point and click, with plenty of inventory puzzles. Good art, decent story and doesn't outstay its welcome.
A nice little (dark) adventure game. Recommended.
