I don't think there's anything wrong with a one-hour playtime at all, but for that I feel like it should blow me away in that timeframe. I've played games like that before, this sadly isn't one. The idea of reinterpreting what a "UFO" is into more of a transcendent spiritual body instead of just an alien spaceship full of little green men is inspired, and the imagery at the start of the game follows through on that concept. Then it sort of devolves into stone corridors, then just untextured rectangular blocks... you sometimes get a cool vista, but I feel like you can see everything neat in just the trailer. The greek statues aren't random, they're part of the game's theme, but they still lack a sense of specificity, like any borrowed asset, appropriate or no. I think the big issue here is that while moving away from the purely stereotypical UFO stuff is, like I said, inspired, it almost goes too far in the other direction. Outside of that intro with the wobbly surreal flying saucer, I feel like it's almost inappropriate for this game to be tagged as Aliens or Sci-fi at all. Going from one extreme to another, this work doesn't really engage with the popular conception of UFOs *at all,* even as critique or deconstruction. The imagery doesn't evoke anything specific at all, just "woo surreal."
Short experience but totally worth it. Good work! Thanks for this little gem <3
first off, it really has nothing to do with aliens. it just a weird game with existential ideas and notions. its okay but dont think its an ufo game. 6 out of 10 for me. not worth the cost, unfortunately
A short walking simulator with some BASIC puzzle elements. It's mostly about the set pieces, so if you like macroarchitecture this game is for you!
short interesting trip in grayscale
Cheap, short and sweet. Deep atmosphere, great sound design, except for water-walking. Could be so much more.
if you have shaky handds like me, dont bother
I really enjoyed exploring this little world. It's almost as if Carl Sagan and Whitley Strieber sat down together to create a game. Highly recommended if you have more than a passing interest in the UFO/UAP experience.
вау. игра на 40 минут, но это будут 40 минут визуального и аудиального удовольствия. Обязательно в наушниках.
