About
Unsealed: The Mare is a challenging psychological horror game blending tense gameplay with a dark, emotional story.
You play as Vera, caught between dreams and memories, you search for what should have been forgotten. As fragments of your family’s tragedy surface, they poison your mind and intertwine with your memories, distorting the dream into something increasingly horrific. In this nightmare, everything feels connected - bound by guilt, sorrow, and something far darker you cannot yet comprehend.
What begins as a search for answers slowly becomes a fight against a nightmare shaped by memory, loss, and something unsettlingly personal.
---------
The story and lore are discovered through environmental clues, notes, and memories, inviting players to piece together the truth themselves rather than follow a traditional narrative.

Game has some pretty solid jumpscares in it... and I feel like there's a narrative they're trying to tell rather than just being the cat and mouse experience you'll be playing. I feel a more solid story with the game concept would do wonders... with that being said it's not an overall bad game. It's a fun little horror experience... and some of the puzzles in the game are quite complex (some of the ones I was completing my chat was saying they would've rage quit the game by now). I will say though... this game is not a $20 value by any means. It's not horrible... but it's not great either. This game feels more to me like it should've landed in the $5.99 - $7.99 range.
The game is great, the lady is very charming and it made me pee my pants, so 10/10
Run, don’t run, or maybe just wait—I’m not sure anymore. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2718961386
absolutely loved this game! the jump scares had me every time. During gameplay I did have the developer in my stream and he was able to make some changes to area's that seemed to be too hard. During game play be mindful of the notes left they will help you navigate through the game and as always be ready for the jump scares because they will get you - Chaosgamin on tiktok for gameplay clips
Unsealed: The Mare is a really good indie horror game. Unfortunately, it feels extremely stretched out at times. Especially in Chapter 2, it sometimes feels like it will never end, because you keep running through labyrinth-like corridors trying to figure out what the game expects you to do next. That said, the different puzzles and mechanics are actually really good. There are also a few decent scares, and overall the graphics are solid and the performance is smooth. Selecting items can be a bit difficult sometimes though, especially in moments where you need to hurry. I played for 3 hours on the “Hunt” difficulty and have now reached the final chapter. It just shouldn’t drag on this much, and I also think the price is a bit too high. For horror fans it’s definitely a recommendation — but I’d suggest waiting for a sale ^^
I enjoyed the the challenges of this game. Honestly, the last part really made it a struggle which I feel was good. I got frustrated at times, but that only made passing this game satisfying. The ambient sounds and the sounds from the teddies really gave it a eerie atmosphere. Most horror games miss out on using sounds to set the spooky environment. I really like the small details of the teddy's animations. It was surprising to see them do different things. I can't say I experienced bugs/glitches with the game. I think the only confusing part was the hallway with the glowing symbols. I wasn't sure in which order to go through them and was looking around for clues, eventually made it out. Pretty good scary game.
Игра не даёт себя пройти, делая чекпоинт на самое начало!!! Бред. Жалко деньги не вернуть.....((((
The 10th pipe drop made me sh*t myself
