its very fun and relaxing
Jeu très mignon, avec une narration originale qui utilise les lieux et les objets pour raconter une vie. En revanche, il est très court et ne propose quasiment aucun challenge : c'est avant tout un jeu détente. Je conseille donc plutôt de l'acheter en promotion.
super cozy
looove this game, i have had it for a loong time now and i never get bored of it!!! totally reccomend!! :3
i enjoyed how chill it was. good environmental storytelling X)
An unassuming idea with rich depths. A fascinating journey to have taken. It prompted me to think about what my priorities are, both as a game-player and as a homemaking adult, and to reckon with the gap and the overlap between those two modes of being. For example: why didn't I find this supposedly "relaxing" and "satisfying" game relaxing or satisfying? Whence this anxiety about the social norms tacit in every object (as silently codified in the win condition)? Why does the "cozy" isometric toy-ification of the world of material possessions make me feel an obscure despair? Good and valuable questions for me to have to confront! But I don't think I can describe my experience as "fun." The relationship between the player and the character is really very odd. I am decidedly not she — based on her stuff I doubt we'd even be friends — so am I supposed to make decorating choices to please myself or to please her? Is she even ultimately pleasable? There's something melancholy about our respective absences from one another's realities. We're just interdimensional poltergeists doomed to abuse each others' universes. I can do nothing directly about the trend of her life, as she ages and suffers, but I am responsible for deciding which way her spoons go. "Gosh, is there somehow a way to put the spoons that would improve things for her?" "Ha ha, of course not! Her fate is set in stone; it is for you to witness helplessly from behind glass as you fiddle impotently with these objects. Now show us which way you think spoons go, so that we can tell you whether you do it a good normal way or a weird loser way." Then again, I feel similar melancholy whenever I reckon with my own material accumulation, its inertness and purposelessness, its alien indifference to the heartbeat of time. All possessions imply a hapless absence; the game just renders that absence interactable, for once, and then calls it "cute." This was special and I'll be thinking about it for a while. It dismayed me, but in very interesting ways, real-life ways that most games couldn't even touch. There's something to that.
Relaxing and fulfilling. Seemed daunting at times but was really fun.
A beautiful little game that tells a story through its environment. I really saw myself in the main character and all that they went through. Such a real, and relatable, story told in the most beautiful way. I highly recommend this game if you want a chill puzzling experience, and a story that doesn't just tell you straight up.
Unpacking is one of my favorite games hands down. It has such well done visuals and a fun story. I remember finishing it all in one night yet I still come back to it often to replay. I hope to see more from this team in the future!
Troppo rilassante, mi piaceva così tanto che l'ho finito in una sola sessione
