It's a short indie horror game where we step into the shoes of Alex, a student who, in search of more comfort, rents an apartment in the city that, at first glance, seems pretty decent — but upon arrival, he realizes something is not right.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This was a pretty decent short horror game, about 30 mins or so. I got it on sale so it was even better. It scared me a few times, good jump scares and ALWAYS with the MANNEQUINS. Check out my gameplay here: https://youtu.be/GzxO9zs_WPg
This would be maybe 15 minutes long if the movement wasn't so slow. Walking up and down several flights of stairs multiple times just to get into the apartment uses a good portion of that time. The chase sequence commences as the text prompt to run using the shift key appears on the screen (leaving little reaction time), while in you're in a maze-like hallway with a dead end. Not a fan of this, or chases in general. Having played "Who am I?", which had some substance, I thought I'd give the other Redsroll games a chance. Sadly, there's not much going on here. Thin story and one puzzle, with similar assets, functions, and environments (including the aforementioned chase scenario) as the other games gives the impression that it was lazily thrown together. Redsroll has potential and has demonstrated such, but Unknown Host isn't a good example.
Unknown Host ended up being a really pleasant surprise. I'll admit, I didn't go into this one expecting much. It was a smaller indie horror game that I picked up as part of a bundle, so I figured it would be a fun way to kill an hour or two. Instead, I ended up enjoying it quite a bit. The game is fairly short, but I actually think that's one of its strengths. It doesn't drag things out or overcomplicate the experience. It gets in, delivers a few solid scares, and tells its story without overstaying its welcome. Visually, the game looked better than I expected. The graphics were well done, the environments were creepy, and everything came together to create a solid atmosphere. The jumpscares were also handled pretty well. They weren't constant, but there were enough of them to keep me on edge throughout the playthrough. What impressed me most was just how polished the experience felt for a smaller indie title. Everything worked the way it was supposed to, and the game delivered exactly what I was hoping for—a fun, creepy horror experience without trying to be something it wasn't. Overall, Unknown Host exceeded my expectations. It's not going to compete with the biggest names in horror, but for a short indie game—especially one I picked up in a bundle—it was a great surprise. If you're looking for a quick horror game with good visuals, a creepy atmosphere, and a handful of solid jumpscares, I'd definitely say it's worth giving Unknown Host a shot.
